“We dealt with kal at Birstall junction 27
Kal is fab 👌. We were really looked after.
Kal sold us an amazing sofa
Great quality
Wonderful service
Great deal
Kal was not an annoying sales person. He was professional, kind and soooo lovely
We were about to give up on sofas due to some annoying sales men in other furniture shops ... but kal gave us such a great experience.
I would highly recommend if you want Great service and quality”
“Small claims court needed. Please do not buy these unless you're convinced of a better outcome. The sales people are very nice, but I was not given the whole story of how to look after the sofas. I was however given the entire life story of the chap selling them to us!
We purchased two Portento sofas in a suede like fabric from Norwich.
You are meant to do so much to these sofas EVERY TIME you get up from them! This involves plumping and smoothing, plus pushing the fabric back into place.
The delivery men dropped the sofas, did not assemble as they should and left strap marks on them.
I was then told that this was not damage, it had to "settle"
One of the seats became so bad it was awful to sit on. This was after only 4 months.
I wish I had ignored the settling advice, as this put us past the legal time that would have allowed us to get a full refund and return them. They obviously knew that and did it deliberately.
The sofas are such a waste of money. So very badly made. Cheap pine and a bit of strapping.
We ended up going through the small claims court, which did not give us a great outcome at all. We wanted our money back, they refused. We settled without actually going to court (mediation was as far as we got). But that cost me a few hundred pounds.
We eventually had two chaps come to apparently mend the damage, but it looks awful. The seat is comfier, but there is an unsightly crease now where the collapse has permanently damaged the fabric. The damage from the strap is still obvious, and again looks unsightly.
IT HAS TAKEN US A WHOLE YEAR TO GET THEM TO DO ANYTHING! THEY ARE AN AWFUL COMAPANY. We are not the only ones either.
This is a tiny version of the hundreds of emails, visits, calls and eventually court to get them to put things right. But they haven't. We accepted just over £1000 and free repairs, but we already had the extra insurance, so it would have been free anyway. The sofas were meant to be £6000, but we got them for approx £4500. Such a waste.
We accepted because I just couldn't continue to argue with them. They dismissed us at every turn. It was a very unpleasant experience.
Go to IKEA like we used to do. Their sofas are so much better, and are a fraction of the cost. Only go here if you think the name gives you bragging rights.”
“I strongly urge anyone who is reading this review to not purchase anything from Natuzzi.
I am an average earning person who saved up weeks of wages to purchase a sofa from Natuzzi with the idea that it would be a long term purchase.
We went to the Uddingston store just outside of Glasgow and were shown a fabric 3 seat recliner. we really liked it but wanted it in leather. They did not have a leather version in store and nor were we shown a leather sofa that would have been reflective of the one we wanted to purchase. Trusting that it would be as good quality as the fabric sofa, we went ahead and purchased the leather version of the same sofa for around £2800 inc delivery.
To be fair, delivery was on time and service was good up until this point.
After using our sofa for a mere 2 to 3 months, we noticed that the leather was sagging and creasing excessively. It seemed as if their was a deficient amount of foam in the cushions and therefore the leather was not fitted around the foam to give it a smooth finish, instead the leather was sagging. Not too dissimilar from wearing an oversized glove and how it would look if it wasn't fitted around the fingers.
We emailed them and sent pictures, and after a few weeks, they sent a technician who agreed that the sofa did not look healthy. He proceeded to fill extra foam into one of the cushions and over inflated it. One side of the sofa, although it looked smooth, now looked bulky and over compromised, whilst the other cushion still looked saggy and creased. He assured us it would settle and it never did.
We wanted to return it at this point. We were not happy with a sofa that looked withered, saggy on one side and bulky over inflated on the other.
They sent out technician number 2 who said that the first technician had put in too much foam and that has distorted the shape of the cushion. We were unhappy and annoyed at this point and refused any further alterations in case it was messed up further. we just wanted to return it at this point.
Still not agreeing to this, technician 3 was sent out, again after weeks. All he did was remove the extra foam that was put in by technician 1 and left it looking even more saggy than before as the leather had stretched even more because of the excess foam that had inflated it.
We now have an expensive sofa that is looking old, withered and saggy. It looks like skin that is sagging around old cheekbones. Surely Natuzzis sofas should have a standardised amount of foam in their cushions that doesn't allow the leather to sag and at the same time doesn't inflate the leather to the point where it looks like it is going to burst.
During this whole process, calls were not returned, emails were not replied to and staff were rudely dismissive of our concerns.
Please save your hard earned money and avoid dissatisfaction and stress. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM NATUZZI.
I have a gallery of pictures to support my review. I am not sure how to attach them to this review.
