“If you are considering buying from this company, I would recommend you seriously think about parting with ANY money before your order is confirmed, even though they will pester you into paying a deposit before even confirming what you’ve ordered or discuss specifications.
I accepted their quote and paid £1000 upfront via direct bank transfer, when I received the official order form to sign accepting what they were going to supply, the metal roof sheets that I was originally quoted for had been changed to a cheaper cement fibre type. I decided not to proceed with my order after all, which under current consumer laws and the distance selling regulations is my perogative and asked for my £1000 to be returned via the method of which it was originally paid.
Nucrete are now saying that their bank cannot confirm the details of the account of where the refund is to be returned, which is coincidentally the same account from which the payment was made. Delaying tactics? Absolutely! They suggest I write in with a letter stating that it was my account I made payment from and that I would like a refund, Nucrete and their bank already know where the money came from!!!! Once I do this they will issue we with a cheque, how long is that going to take I wonder?
So please beware of their trading practices should you order and decide to quite rightly change your mind.
In hindsight I really should of listened to what I was told about this company and would suggest from the outset that you only part with the minimal deposit amount possible and only pay the remaining balance once you are happy with the installed garage/building and it’s to the specification you were quoted for.”
“Firstly put my garage in the wrong place. I've now had my garage just 17 months approx theres condensation dripping off of the garage ceiling even though it has the anti condensation. The side facial is going mouldy where it's been joined. Everytime it rains you can see the water penetrating the concrete panels and look damp. My garage door is awkward to open as its moved or catching on the framework. I've been in touch and sent photos, just to be told I have to call after sales when they already have my emails and photos but yet they haven't been in touch to rectify anything. Disgusting !!!”
