“I ordered a new printer and ink cartridges from Office Depot website. The printer was delivered in two days, the ink the very next day so that was a win right? Once I unblxed the printer and tried hooking it up it would not find my network, this went on for over an hour. I took it to my office and the the same problem would not recognize that network. So clearly the printer is defective and it with the ink which was no longer needed for back up supplies I started the return process. That's where the nightmare begins.
First off I was able to start the return for the ink with no issues. They said it would be picked up on May 16, 2024. It was picked up on 05/17 n big deal. Also a week later no refund. The printer return on the other hand could not be started online, they make it as painful as possible to return it.. After 4 hours on the phone with their customer service finally, a return was started with a pick up date of 05/17 which came and left no pickup. I called on the 18th and they said they "attempted to pick it up but the business was closed" which is total BS because it's my home, not a business that was outright BS. So it was to be rescheduled for the same day, the 18th. Again no pick up. Called again they said tomorrow the 19th for pick up and again no pick up. Called again pick on the 20th and still no pick up. Or refund.
I did a deep dive and it appears they are fully engaged in a racketeering scam where they continue lying about a pick up date until the clock runs out for returns. At this point no refund, for the picked up ink cartridges, no refund for the defective printer and the printer is still here. So it time to file litigation and hold these POS accountable while submitting the massive amount of fraud they are committing against consumers to my local DA office.”
“The Office Depot in Temecula has online ordering with curbside pickup. Their sign for the curbside pickup is as clear as mud. It just states they have curbside pickup and how to check in. It doesn't state where to park. I parked in the first parking space closest to the door and told them the make, model and color of my car. There were only about five cars parked by the store. After waiting about 5 minutes I texted them that I was still waiting. I had to go inside where I found out their pickup parking area is on yellow lines on the two-lane road that runs directly in front of the store. I picked up my order inside the store from a designated area a few steps from the front door. There is no accountability for picking up any order. Anyone could walk in the front door, take someone else's order and walk out the front door.”
“My UsBank Confirmed my debit Card information was Accurate and My Telephone number was accurate in case my bank needed to get ahold of me as well I don't know why , the company ( Office Depot ) would be saying this I do have documentation states the address matches my debit card Corresponding information Up-to-Date and I've been making More Then a lot of purchases through my debit card with the other business with the same address I've gave'n to them , the lady on the phone was rude I asked to speak to there supervisor about this incident and was shuffled around the phone call couldn't get through so i called again asked to make a complaint with there business no answer from the headquarters Due too " COVID-19 " Restrictions , yes ( Office Depot ) dropped the amount back into my bank wise , and released the funds back after holding the amount for some time, the complaint that I'm making is I was trying to do business with Office Depot and It was clear that the customer care team was rude and I had placed more orders at one time with this business online on phone E.T.C and it was clear to me that my bank had froze the amount cause I had try to make more then 1 purchase at 1 time , Office Depot asked me do I want to use a different card and I said no I will call my bank and confirm , it wasn't on my end or my banks end it was Office Depot there system was rejected to my debit card supposedly cause everything went through on my end as the information was accurately correct , I am here to make a complaint with there business about how Un-professional I was treated by there business I had gaven there business poor rating on this matter and how deeply I was saddened I don't think there Company business is professional with customers as I took my business elsewhere to best buy and had No Issues with My Debit Card”
“Unfortunately one of the items I ordered was damaged in shipping.
Not the fault of the company.
Contacted Office Depot and they agreed to replace the item.
I waited over 2 weeks for the new product to arrive.
I called the company again, they were going to check into it and email me once they know what was happening.
I waited over a week.
I called the company again, and was promised the item will arrive by this Friday. IF it comes, hopefully it will not be damaged. The only reason for the bad review is the EXTREME delay in getting my replacement item and the lack of communication and follow-up on their part.”
“The prices on their printed materials are amazing...hands down the best around. The online ordering system is a little wonky and waiting in stores to pick up can take a little longer than is agreeable, but overall an awesome company!”
