I have been a loyal customer with Onecall for 8 years now and neever had any problems at all. Never claimed, never really needed to contavt them and had faith in the renwals they had given me. But a couple of years ago they changed my insurance to a rolling contract and told me it was " The Platinum club " and i would get further benefits, which i thought Great a business that actaully cares. Unfortunately my circumstances chn=anged in May this year when my wife was diagnosed with terminal cancer and passed away a short time after. We had no life insurance cover and she died at at an early age of 43. My life turned upside down rapidly , as you can expect. I was thrown into depression but still had to work through it due to our 2 children and the bills that i still had to pay. Any rduction in costs to run the house would be amazing. On checking all my Bills to try and reduce the living cost i noticed that One call had rose my Insurance by nearly double so i phoned to see if there was any way in reducing the costs. By the way i had NO notification of the price increases at any stage with it being a rolling contract. I was told that that was the cheapest they could do it for. So i looked on a compare site and found one nearly £40 a month cheaper with more benefits. I phoned back and explained could they match that quote and was told no we cant so i asked if i could cancel on my paydate which is the beggining of the month. Yes the customer service person said ( through web text chat, which i hate by the way!). He said there was no charge for cancelling. Great i thought every saving is a saving. I then recieved a notification from my bank that they had taken a smaller amount out which i thought was the payment between the days of my insurance swap. But No, they then sent me a letter to say i owed the full month from 25th to the date of my pay which was more than i paid monthly anyway. Exasperated i tried contacting them, which is hard to talk to anyone, and cant really text the way i was feeling. They tehn sent it directly to a debt colection agency. WoW what such great care you take of your loyal customers.

I spoke with Drew R and Jessica C they are telling me i need to pay for entire year of insurance even i sold my car because i have a calm . My claim was closed in 13.02.2023 with no cost ( £0.00 ) and still today 20.04.2023 they are not able to close my insurance !

This company is a disgrace to the insurance industry-it nets people in on a low price-then harasses you non stop increasing the premium and disregards no claims discounts etc etc until the price becomes ridiculous -then charges massive cancellation fees not inline with other insurance companies-my advice -do not make that one call as you will regret it-its barely legal at best

They got my 'old' address from confused.com. I took out a policy and amended my address, however they still had my old address and phone number. The policy starts TODAY and I called to say it was wrong and now they want to charge me £24.99 to amend the policy or £49.99 to cancel. Absolutely disgraceful

Worst insurance ever, cancelled and 2 months later get a letter from the same company now called : One Call Debt Recovery , obviously 2 people sitting in a room. They charged me 112.47 for leaving and then have the cheek to charge 25 for collection. Don't join trhis company, they are a joke! They also have loads of fake reviews, obviously bought!

Had my catalytic converter stolen . 8 weeks on still not got the car back. Delay after delay. Told lies on the phone by the customer advisors.They took 10 days to say fix it . It has now been 11 days and not paid the bill. My car is sat waiting to be picked up. Said they tried to pay but toyota had sent the wrong bank details. In difficult times you need them and they don't care.

Absolutely AWFULcompany . You can’t phone them ironically even though they are named ONE CALL. Joke you have to contact via a chat room service and they take forever to reply keeping you in limbo wondering if they’ve just gone for a cuppa then you can’t speak ( chat) to a supervisor and they hold on to your payment details quoting “ data protection” it’s a joke company avoid at all costs . They also take payments from you twice with no authorisation . Beware

my mother moved house on the 12th of October, she has been insured with one call from may, so not too long. upon contacting one call to let them know about the address change, they said that it is not possible to update to your new address due to the insurance company (Ageas) not covering that area..... we will give you 7 days before WE cancel your policy. we can set up a new policy for you though at more than DOUBLE the cost of the original policy, my mum declined for obvious reasons. after sorting a new policy out, from moneysupermarket for less than the one call policy, today she had a letter from one call, demanding payment for a cancellation.... THAT THEY DID! we did not request this, all she wanted was to change her address, thats it. no phone number to call anyone, only live chat which honestly, is no good for the elderly like my mother, she is 68 and cannot use a computer ETC. after myself spoke to the adviser, she didn't seem to understand that we was not told about any fee during the first conversation. long story short, a VERY disappointing experience, with fees that were not disclosed to begin with all because of an address change, which if not paid, legal action will be taken. Very, very disappointed, we will not be using one call again. i would understand if she moved to Beirut, but chesterfield.....really guys?! if you are moving house, good luck.

Received disgusting customer service after being in an accident with my wife and children and their Staff members Harry & Mitch were patronizing, rude and kept terminating the call and laughing. I have call recordings of it I will be sharing on Twitter etc

Some one ran into us 2017 sagar did not put the insurance up THEY DID AND £ 36 fee next insured a van first time no ncb but but had ncb on the car they used that . Just put £ 204 on top 0 out of 10 terabile service

45 mins to get an answer, then spoke to Lloyd very helpful , if I were him ide leave and go work for a company that would not put there staff in the position where it take 45 mins to get thru and telling me im 12 in the Q but no time you will be answered in 5 mins I could then choose to spend my valuable time finding a ins co that does answer the phone
