“The radio code supplied for my Nissan Connect (combined Radio / CD player / Sat Nav / Aux in / Bluetooth) worked first time. No going back for a second code or any such inconvenience Warning to other Nissan connect users. Despite this still being preferable to taking out the Nissan connect unit to get the serial number (so no stars deducted), to get the information required for the code, meant I had to enter 3 incorrect (guessed) codes first. When you do this the Nissan Connect starts a 60 minute timeout. This is not an elapsed time countdown, but an ignition on countdown. You will therefore need to have the ignition on for 60 minutes AFTER you find out the information required for the code before you can actually use the code supplied. Still better than the alternatives though!”

“The code supplied for my Nissan Note Connect combined radio / CD / Sat Nav worked first time - no issues and no having to go back and ask for a second code because the first one didn't work. Warning to other Nissan Connect users - to get the information for the code I had to put in 3 incorrect entries first. This leads of a 60 minute timeout before retries. However, the timeout is not elapsed time, but ignition on time. If, like me, you do not park you car in a garage, this means you have to drive around for 60 minutes before you can use the supplied code. As I had no need to do anything other than short trips for a few days, this meant 4 days between code supplied and code used”
