“Had to wait much longer for item to arrive than original date given and no communication to say that this was the case, until I emailed company asking about why there was a delay. Won’t be ordering from this company again. Rug ok.”

Hi Christopher, thanks for getting in touch. I can see that the order was due to be with you on the correct day, but the courier, due to a high workload, could only deliver this the following day. In the current climate their workload is very high but we have of course taken this feedback to them, in the hope that this does not happen again.

“After reading a significant amount of bad reviews, I wasn’t hopeful that I’d get a refund for the chair I’d bought, AND not have to pay to return it. However, I did get a full refund, no quibbles at all. AND I got to keep the chair, which looks ok, but is extremely uncomfortable, had rusting leg threads, and studs that are not bronze, as was stated in the ad. I’m pleased, but would have preferred a genuinely nice chair”

I can assure you, the number of customers who end up unhappy with the service they receive from us is very small and I am pleased to hear that, although the item from the seller wasn't ideal, it was dealt with quickly and efficiently by the team here. Apologies that the item isn't as we would have hoped, we have gone back to the seller with this feedback and hopefully they can improve this item in particular.

“Some of the reviews are off-putting but having read a few I felt that the general consensus was that the quality was good but timelines for expected delivery were often pushed. Having received my order I can say both myself and Husband are extremely pleased with the build quality of the furniture, we weren’t desperate for the unit so didn’t mind when the delivery date was moved a few weeks later. Will definitely use again.”

Hi Eleanor, we are working hard with all our sellers to ensure that, in the rare cases where an item is delayed, the delay is kept to a minimum and that we keep our customers updated. We ship most of our orders out on time but in the current climate, there are occasions when items do get delayed but I hope the team here kept you updated.
