“I had to leave this long review to say how impressed I was with Outdoor GB. I shopped through some Berghaus products carefully to get best weatherproof jackets and found a beautiful Mehan vented one but on receiving it in the post I tried on and realised it wasn't functional & heavy enough for gardening. I must admit because I wasn't sure if it was going to be exactly what I needed, I looked at their refund policy before I ordered to make sure there was no little surprise clauses. I also checked out the reviews on trust pilot and didn't see many positive ones so I kind of braced myself knowing I needed to speak to someone about returning and exchanging for another item on their catalogue. And after my call was answered reasonably quickly (I thought it was gonna be forever) I was very pleasantly directed to Karen,who was really friendly (I could almost 'see' her smiling). She clearly gave me instructions on how to return my item, advised me patiently, took my email to send me the info for printing out my return label etc so all I needed to do is just pop over to the local library to print out for my package - I made sure to open the original packaging neatly in case I had to return it so it would be in good condition. When I called again just to be sure of the refund process as I forgot, and even checked the true size of that brand, again she was every bit as pleasant, friendly and helpful on the phone when I called OutdoorGB. This was completely different to what I expected from the reviews, so I felt I needed to leave this review. I felt they really did do their bit to make my experience as great as they could. They were so good, that after returning my original jacket I ordered, the very next day (surprisingly!) I got my exchange item in the post!! ? What a star team, spoke to Debby and she was just as pleasant as Karen. I also got a loyalty voucher emailed to me to spend with discount on any other item!!! ? So excited!! I've already got my eye on some winter boots. Thank you OutdoorGB for my experience, the timing, your communication, great doing business wth you, I'll be adding you to my favourite website bookmarkers! Very happy first customer!????”
