We were in the Canary Islands (Spain) with a sailing boat. Our cooker got broken so we wanted to order a new one. The outdoorxl seemed perfect with their "we send anywhere" slogan. We have paid for the cooker more than in other internet shops, as well as additional price for shipment to a "remote location". Delivery time should be one week. But... we have received the parcel after 3 weeks. The UPS contacted us to clear all customs procedures (outdoorxl was not answering emails to help us with this). Customs have charged us additional 20 percent on the order value. Finally, we received the cooker, but without the pressure fuel tank (i.e. useless). The fuel tank was in the order and was paid. It is sure that the customs didn't open the parcel because the original packing tape and stickers were untouched. We have asked the outdoorxl to send us the missing tank ASAP, they even sent us the e-mail return receipt, but there is no answer. We would like to proceed with our journey instead of waiting another 3 weeks or more. Important thing to mention is that we have theoretically ordered from a Spanish shop (outdoorxl.es), but the order and emails were just redirected to the Netherlands. We have ordered the same day another parcel (from a different shop, really from the mainlaind Spain) and we have got it in a week, with no additional charges nor being involved in the customs procedures (also delivered by the UPS). Afterwards, I have checked if there is an outdoorxl domain in my home country. Of course there is and the web page is an automatic translation, not corrected by a native. If I knew this, I wouldn't be so stupid to order anything in such a shop. I could order this from any good ranked shop to a friend or family in my country and send it myself via UPS express. The outdoorxl has a big, cheap marketing pump, but completely zero competence in the multinational operation (which would justify high prices). The outdoorxl has bought multinational internet domains, takes money for their "we send anywhere" slogan, gives you unrealistic delivery time, but finally they put a shipment sticker on a carelessly packed parcel and just don't care any more... We have lost time and money on a useless, incomplete item with this shop.
