“DO NOT BUY! These collars don't work! Bought 2 and they never work. HORRIBLE customer service. I have 6 acres of pasture land with 4 trees, and customer service said it was because I have a tree. The trees aren't even in the perimeter.”

“The fence would not work in my area. Had a few people try to set it up. They do not stand behind there item. Would not give me a refund wanted to try things to get it to work. Then got out of refund date due to vacation.”

“I do not recommend this product or company. I ordered 2 collars from them and both could not get a strong enough GPS signal to function. I live in a remote area so it wasn't so surprising. What was surprising was the $25 restocking fee they charged me for a product that didn't work as advertised. If you have any doubts about the collar working at your location I would be weary of Pawtronic. The support I received was impersonal and felt scripted. My order was late due to a color I chose being out of stock but I only found this out through me inquiring. The company knew about the shortage but failed to proactively notify me my order being late. Overall just bad business.”

“I purchased the dog collar GPS system and it unfortunately did not work as described. My problem is trying to get my money refunded. After seven email requests for a refund, 5-6 pictures of the device in its original box, I was finally “allowed” to return it and sent a return label. Now after a month and zero response I still am waiting for my money back. Do not buy this unless you are positive it will work and you will be pleased with the product.”

“After intense research I was super hopeful this would be the right fence for us. Unfortunately after 2 weeks of waiting on shipment it never shipped despite their promises to EXPEDITE. I had to reach out to customer service multiple times about the delay. They didn't have the items to fulfill my order. That sounds like a scam especially on a nearly $900 order. I finally requested a cancellation of my order and full refund. The Customer service is AWFUL.”

“It was fairly easy to set up. But that’s where the good stops. The fence would work sometimes. Most of the time my dog could walk right through the boundary without the collar ever beeping. The battery would last 1 day. So, I contacted the company after only having it a week and told them I wanted to return it. Upon returning they still charge you a 25$ restocking fee which is probably the only way that they stay in business. They had the product for 10 days I had to email them to even get them to issue the refund. Save your 25$ and buy something else. Don’t waste your time.”

“Pawtronics GPS Dog Collar – Very Disappointing This collar was completely ineffective for our 90 lb mastiff mix. Even with the shock set to the highest level, it had absolutely no impact—she didn’t react at all. I tested it myself, and a 9-volt battery on the tongue had more kick than this collar. On top of that, the system was slow to respond when our dog crossed the fence line, which defeats the entire purpose of a containment collar. The most frustrating part is the return policy. Pawtronics refused to accept a return because I removed the plastic screen cover when putting it on my dog. They claim that if the unit has been “used in any way,” it cannot be returned—which makes no sense for a product that must be used to evaluate. I’m stuck with an expensive collar that doesn’t work and a company that won’t stand behind its product. “Can’t get my collar to connect. Tried calling customer service multiple times, and can’t even get through. Online it says business hours are 7AM to 2 AM. I call within these hours, even tried emailing, but the automatic email said they are closed, I sent the email at 8AM they are supposed to be open. I want this to work, I may change my review if they answer their damn phone.”

“It had to be charged daily. It would not respond to the all GPS boundaries. Too small of screen on a phone; app needs to work on a PC or Kindle. Transmitter would not work at distances over 100 ft.; range was set to 500 ft..”

“Whatever you do dont lose or damage that charging cable, because it is not easily replaced. Have to order one for $40!!! from pawtronic. They could not make it something like USB-C, mini usb, or some other common connector. Not happy right now!”

“Terrible. Costumer service is slow. The collar doesn’t work. It disconnects randomly so my dog can run past it. No trees in the way or anything. And now they are saying I can’t return it because I took the screen cover off. Get a Halo.”

“If I could give one star, I would. The product is completely unreliable. The gps boundary range is inaccurate and thus impossible to train a dog on not to mention dangerous. Customer service is a joke, they do not stand behind their product.”

“After only having the collar for a month the screen on it went out. I contacted customer service did everything they requested with pictures and videos. I didn't hear anything back for over a week. Which I sent another email and also called the number only to be told to write an email. I also had purchased the extended warranty so that I would not have to deal with the unnecessary run around I was getting. Have yet to hear back from email on if they were going to replace the collar.”

“BEWARE! Tried to setup the Pawtronic Pro 2 and as an elderly person found it impossible to figure out. The APP does not set up the device, it has to be done from the collar itself, which is never mentioned in marketin materials. If you look at the instructional video, it doesn't even explain what buttons they're pushing!! Contacted the company for a return and they offer only a 50% refund because the thin piece of plastic which covered the screen was removed when we tried to set it up.”
