“Living in a spot where the GPS signal can be a bit finicky, the Halo kept giving me these "false alerts" that would stress out my dog for no reason, and eventually, I just stopped trusting the tech altogether. But after a week with the Prawtronic Pro Series 2, that constant knot in my stomach is finally gone. The setup was actually intuitive, and the real-time tracking is so pinpoint accurate that I can see exactly which bush he’s sniffing behind. It doesn't feel like a gadget I’m forced to use; it feels like a genuine safety net that understands the layout of my property better than I do. The real reason this blows the Halo out of the water comes down to the reliability of the connection and the build quality. While the Halo felt a bit bulky and struggled with signal dropouts in wooded areas, the Pro Series 2 holds a rock-solid lock on his location without the lag that used to drive me crazy. It’s significantly more rugged, toomy dog is a heavy sleeper and an even heavier jumper, and this unit doesn't have that "fragile plastic" feel. Being able to set up a custom fence that actually respects the boundaries I set, without the collar glitching and correcting him unfairly, has changed our daily routine. I'm finally spending my time enjoying our walks instead of staring at a loading screen on my phone, praying the signal catches up.”

“I feel the battery life sucks. It does not even last 24 hours before I have to spend hours charging it again. It said the batter life on the webpage was 3-4 days. So not true!”

“The hardware itself feels much more "pro" than the base model, the titanium bolts are a nice touch because Bear has sensitive skin and used to get hotspots from the cheaper stainless steel prongs on other brands. It’s fully waterproof too, which I can vouch for since he spent half of yesterday afternoon sprinting through the creek at the edge of our property. My only minor gripe is the magnetic charging cord is a bit short, but the battery easily lasts 3–4 days even with him being outside most of the day, so I’m not constantly tethered to a wall outlet. If you have a medium-to-large dog and want to avoid the "subscription trap," this is definitely the sweet spot for tech and value.”

“Can’t get my collar to connect. Tried calling customer service multiple times, and can’t even get through. Online it says business hours are 7AM to 2 AM. I call within these hours, even tried emailing, but the automatic email said they are closed, I sent the email at 8AM they are supposed to be open. I want this to work, I may change my review if they answer their damn phone.”

“I finally found a GPS fence that doesn’t treat my dog’s safety like a monthly Netflix subscription! We upgraded to the Pawtronic Pro Series 2 specifically because we were tired of the $15–$20 monthly fees from other brands. The setup was remarkably simple using the Linked Paw app, and I love that I can draw an 8-sided boundary to keep my dog out of the pool area while still giving him the rest of the yard. It’s rugged, waterproof, and has saved us hundreds of dollars already”

“It had to be charged daily. It would not respond to the all GPS boundaries. Too small of screen on a phone; app needs to work on a PC or Kindle. Transmitter would not work at distances over 100 ft.; range was set to 500 ft..”

“Whatever you do dont lose or damage that charging cable, because it is not easily replaced. Have to order one for $40!!! from pawtronic. They could not make it something like USB-C, mini usb, or some other common connector. Not happy right now!”

“Terrible. Costumer service is slow. The collar doesn’t work. It disconnects randomly so my dog can run past it. No trees in the way or anything. And now they are saying I can’t return it because I took the screen cover off. Get a Halo.”

“If I could give one star, I would. The product is completely unreliable. The gps boundary range is inaccurate and thus impossible to train a dog on not to mention dangerous. Customer service is a joke, they do not stand behind their product.”

“I was honestly skeptical about switching from a wired fence, but the Pawtronic Pro has been a game-changer for our Golden Retriever. Setup took me maybe 20 minutes with the app, I just walked the perimeter, set the "safe zone," and it was ready to go, Simply Amazing!!”
