“I bought Perdue Chicken Gizzards in 20 oz tub. FYI There is NOT 20 oz in there. I make homemade raw cat food for my Maine Coon. I have to weigh out everything to make sure it’s balanced. I should have got 3 batches and a lil left over with one tub. I only got 2 batches and a lil left over. I weighed it all and I had 14.3oz on there. I use 6.15oz per batch. I’m HIGHLY disappointed! If they did this to every tub they are making ore of a profit. Instead of 1.36 a tub at Walmart for the 20oz that should have been there- it’s more like 1.90 for the tub. That’s paying for each oz. The true oz. So be careful, you’re not getting the amount you think you are. Who would actually weigh the gizzards? ME! Because I have too.”
“Bought Chicken thighs with skin on. The net weight was 5.3 pounds. I was curious to see how much skin and fat was i was gonna dispose. The weight of skin and fat came out to be 1.1 pound. The I measured the actual meat and it came out to be 3.1 pound. It only added up to 4.2 pound. Where did 1.1 chicken go. Turns out Perdue is charging us for weight of box which is 1.1 pound. Never trust this brand.”
“recently purchased Perdue boneless chicken breast; had an odd brownish color, odd smell, and tough and chewy after I cooked it. All done with this product Chicken should never be chewy.”
