He went right round the whole car with me and explained everything to me so that in the days afterwards I felt quite familiar with all the controls in the car.(A time that I am usually a bit apprehensive about!) He was even quite patient as I had my 'goodbye pangs' with our other motability car (lot of memories tied up in that other car!!) and with my grand-daughter, Lola - he went to get her a balloon..... and was promptly sent back to change it for a PINK one by a determined three yr old: much to the mortification of mum and granny! Peter Vardy Kirkcaldy Staff are always happy and helpful every time we come into the garage whether it's the parts and services department or the sales department - everyone makes us feel welcome and that nothing is too much trouble. “Sales staff were excellent. Unfortunately I have had problems with reverse gear since day one. Service personnel came to my house and collected the car (I had a courtesy car) and adjusted the cable before bringing it back to me. Unfortunately the problem persisted and, today, I took it back again. I was taken out for practice 3-point turns and it turns out that I am not changing gear properly!! This is my 9th new Vauxhall, I have been driving for 44 years and I have never come across this before. Just a different technique required for this car. I think it would be a good idea if reverse gear was selected at some point during a test drive, as If I had had the opportunity during my 2 test drives, this could have been sorted out then. Your service personnel (particularly Andy) have been marvellous. Thank you, I hope all will be well from now on.”
“On arrival we found we were not given any attention although salesmen didn't all appear to be too busy, However once the receptionist arranged salesman Dave to attend to us, he introduced himself very well and presented himself in a most personable style. We had a good idea of which model of car we wished to purchase but Dave explained all the options available and was very helpful in every way. We did purchase a car and it was agreed it would be collected the following day at arranged time - there appeared to be some hold up with waiting on car being taxed at P Office, this was perhaps problem with PO.
