“For shirt 1, I received a different size from what was ordered so didn’t get to test out wear/comfort. They handled the return well.
For shirt 2, I adore and have worn several times. It is comfortable, has a good fit, and I am obsessed with the cute little raccoons on it. Unfortunately some of the top stitching on the front pockets was coming undone by the third wear (no washes).
I would certainly consider buying from them again, but it isn’t a must.”
“First time buying two shirts from Pladra (Workhorse Elite Flannel and Every Day Elite Flannel) and I'm impressed by the soft brushed cotton material, excellent stitching, and overall construction. One thing I will mention on sizing, which really is not a major issue just something buyers should be aware of, is the shirts are very true to standard sizing (e.g. if you typically wear a L-T in other brands then the Pladra L-T will eventually work for you as well but only after first wash). At least as of fall 2025 the Pladra flannel shirts are clearly not pre-shrunk (which is why I deducted a star from rating) so if you wash the shirt on cold then hang dry they will still shrink a bit (and if you run the shirt through the dryer it will shrink significantly). So if you order your normal size and when shirt arrives try it on to find it's a bit too large/wide/long just wash it once and dry according to how much shrinkage you desire and voila! ... you'll have a perfectly sized awesome quality flannel shirt. Finally, I will also echo what other reviewers have mentioned on hoping that Pladra will release a more Lightweight line of button-down shirts, right now both their Midweight and Heavyweight flannels are quite thick and very warm which is great for winter but during shoulder seasons I sometimes want a thinner shirt under a few jacket layers for flexibility.”
“I love these shirts. I add one or two to my collection every year. If you dry them, they do shrink a little so if you dry your clothes, buy a size according to some shrinking. They are really durable and wear really wear. I have some from years ago that still look new. They are investment pieces and totally worth it! These shirts make me look forward to fall every year.”
