“Plumbers (2) arrived within the hour. Removed leaking shower unit, but instead of replacing o-rings and washers messed about with the supply pipes and made leak worse. Said it was a cheap unit and wanted to replace it (not cheap £146). I asked them to blank off pipes so I could turn the water supply back on but they said this was not possible. I went to B&Q and bought two 15mm stop ends and blanked off the pipes myself. Ordered a service kit from the manufacturers (free of charge) under the 10year warranty. Plumbers 4 u, a waste of my time and money.”

“Needed a plumber and gave them a call. The guy seemed knowledgeable and did the work well but it took 40 mins to change a leaking stop valve. Much of this time was spent outside looking for tools in his van (a locksmith's van?). I was charged the full hour which worked out at £102. Seemed very expensive to me.”

“The plumber did not fix he leak and told me it’s cheap plumbing and I should go and buy all the pieces myself and fix the leak myself! The customer services and complaints department don’t pick up the phone or they put the phone down when I call to discuss the leak that hasn’t been fixed but I’ve paid £85+VAT!! Cowboy plumbers! I have sent a written complaint to the complaints department. Meanwhile I have a kitchen leak and cannot use my kitchen sink!!”
