“I've got to be honest, after reading some of the very negative reviews, I was hesitant on placing an order with Power Tools Direct. However, my selected item was in stock, at a good price, with a supposedly prompt delivery and I was offered a discount voucher. I ended up paying for Express Delivery ( as you need to spend £250 ex vat to qualify for Free delivery) and I am pleased to report that the item arrived at 09:30 the following morning! I did have to contact Customer Services with a query/problem and received a prompt, polite, helpful, constructive and positive reply. I am very pleased with my purchase and from my personal point of view, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Power tools Direct!”

“I ordered a Draper 80946 Dust Extractor on Thursday - it was delivered the next day on Friday (super fast) and I was really impressed with PowerTools Direct with both their price and efficiency of delivery. The packaging says 57KG but I think that includes the wooden pallet! Just FYI, I needed quick delivery because I repackaged it and brought it to Singapore where I live and have a small workshop! Later I will write a review of the assembly and product once I get a chance to use it in earnest! Thank you for your speedy response! Kind regards, Paul”

“I recently purchased five 5L tubs of Ronseal Fence Life Plus in Warm Stone from Power Tools Direct. Delivery was on time and the paint was carefully packaged. There was some confusion as the order was delivered on two consecutive days but Gosia in Sales soon responded to my email query. I have bought this fence paint before elsewhere and I love the colour, as seen in the photo on the fence panels and bench (ignore the walls and stone). I am happy to recommend Power Tools Direct.”

“I have used Power Tools Direct a few times now. Really good prompt service and a good product. I use a lot of gold aerosol paint in my work as a furniture restorer and painter. It’s a very good finish and lots of my fellow painters ask what I have used and I have recommended this product quite a few times (Plastikote brilliant gold aerosol spray paint)”

“I ordered the Faithfull Samurai Budding and Pruning Knife after recently buying a pair of Felco secateurs and fancied a quality gardening knife to go with them. I looked at the Felco knife but decided it was basically a modded Swiss Army Knife. Nothing wrong with that I agree the Faithfull knife just looked much classier with its rosewood handle. The Faithfull not only had two blades, one for budding and one for pruning, but it was also much cheaper. The knife arrived very quickly and was well packaged. Upon seeing it and handling it I knew I had made the right decision as this knife just oozes class. The rosewood is lovely and the stainless blades are so sharp I could probably shave with them! If you fancy a really good quality gardening knife I could not recommend this one more highly. I am now looking for jobs just so I can use it and as I will look after it, like I will my new secateurs, I'm pretty sure both will still be going strong long after I have gone.”
