“I love their shoes but have had a nightmare with sizing.A few years ago the size 40 (UK SIZE 7) was like a size 6 so this time I bought size 41 UK8 because sometimes this is claimed to be a UK 7 and they are also too big so I bought size 40 and a 1/2 as this was meant to be a 7 and they are still too big although they are a different style so maybe that’s why they are made bigger.Maybe now a size 7 is a 40 how it should be but you have to pay to send them back each time(which is ridiculous with shoes that might not fit!).Now I am also reading reviews saying they don’t last😢I still love the look and they look well made so I will continue ahhhhhhh…..”
“Bought a pair of pointed-toe flats in the fall of 2023. My foot is a solid size 10-these more like a 9. The room for toes didn’t exist and the body of the shoe slacks and doesn’t conform to your fit. These must be really hyped because for $270 I’ve found better pointed-toe flats through Rothy’s or even Target.”
“I’ve bought many of these shoes over the years due to fit, but since they closed UK shops you can only buy online. The sizing is much smaller; couldn’t fit into their ‘38.5’ even though my last pair was a comfortable 38. Delivery took forever and PB’s service wasn’t helpful in resolving the issue with a (non)delivery - their response was ‘if you don’t receive, the shoes will be eventually sent back’; only delivered after a formal complaint to their chosen courier UPS. Won’t even attempt the return after this experience. Disappointed, but will not order again. They are massively overpriced given the questionable quality (all shoes get holes on the side after a few months) and poor service.”
“I have bought 9 pairs of pretty ballerina ballet flats over the years in different places.
7 have been in stand alone stores- 1 in switzerland and 6 in London stores
2 pairs were bought online.
8 pairs have been shirley designs with the elasticated trim.
The elasticated trims are slack and i am unable to wera them
I contacted the company and asked if they could be repaired at my own expense.
They are giving me varying excuses.
1. its too difficult to repair
2. its due to wear and tear and so cant do anything about them
3. If its not within 12 months they cannot accept them for repairs.
4. They have checked my emails and I did not buy them online.
This company purports to sell high quality shoes luxury shoes.
I am very disappointed with them and will continue to post online and email them until something is done. Just because I cant find the receipts does not mean I did not buy these shoes. 9 pairs!! I did not steal them and I am not a charity case.”
“Do not buy shoes from this place! Poor quality and zero service. Disappointing experience for a luxury product. No refund or exchange policy (even for faulty goods)! My wife had to remind them of consumer laws in NSW to have a faulty product returned. The shoes started falling apart after 1 hour of wear ... and they cost $420!”
“Lovely quality of shoes but poor fitting. Would normally wear a size 6 on main retails but could barely fit in their size 38 European. Unfortunately they don't offer free returns although the shoes costed more than £50 which is the standard requirement with other UK retailers to qualify for free returns. So would have to pay delivery and returns cost.”
