“An excellent trip from start to finish! Whales, sharks, turtles, flamingos, penguins, we saw it all! The food was delicious, the staff amazing, the sights breathtaking. Quasar handled all transfers and details without a problem. Whole trip was wonderful.”

“This was a dream come try for Nancy and me. To say that Quasar exceeded our expectations, is too much of an understatement. What made it possible was the incredible staff aboard the Evolution, who worked tirelessly to ensure we maximized our experiences. Their professionalism in and out of the water, shown forth each day. They were able to take advantage of a rare siting of blue whales in which we spotted no less than six whales and were able to observe them for almost an hour. They were most accommodating to Nancy and me, who had to be the oldest couple aboard, but able to participate in all events. “I found the size of the Evolution just right for this kind of trip. The staff and guides were very helpful and friendly and some were very amusing! The guides were excellent. The food was wonderful (and plentiful) and I learned and saw a lot.”

“My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Darwin's Legacy (2 weeks) cruise on M/V Evolution with Quasar. The guides were outstanding, our room on C deck was comfortable, and the food was wonderful with lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, and local fish options. Quasar took excellent care of us from the time we arrived at the Quito airport to head to Baltra through the time we headed back to the mainland after our cruise completion. We especially appreciated the commitment to safety held by all the crew and staff of the Evolution. The month of May turned out to be a great time to visit the Galapagos Islands. Blue-footed, Red-footed, and Nazca boobies were all courting and nesting, as were the Waved Albatross. Enjoyed snorkeling almost daily with all the beautiful fishes, grazing sea turtles and marine iguanas, sea lions, sharks and rays. We also enjoyed kayaking. It is a very active itinerary.”

“I could go on for hours about the magic of the Galapagos Islands, but you are here to review Quasar and the Evolution Yacht, so I will stay focused. The staff aboard the Evolution made all the difference and were truly adored. The naturalists knew the Islands intimately and shared their knowledge in creative, interesting, and often humorous ways. For instance, sea lion whiskers can sense electrical impulses and feel our heartbeats, which is why they swim close to us—they enjoy our excitement. The naturalists are full of such fun facts! The chefs prepared incredibly tasty yet healthy meals with a wide variety of options. Our rooms were tidied several times daily, with towels folded into fun designs. These details added to the fun of this adventure. Every staff member was courteous and always delightful. This adventure is meant for those wishing to explore actively, with up to four different excursions a day! The overall organization of the itinerary pleased this type A. Everything was smooth and timely. We hiked, kayaked, snorkeled, and toured in the dinghy. Hikes were often over rugged terrain, but they were short, only about a mile, allowing us to enjoy and photograph the wildlife. The optional activities were never overwhelming, and there were always less challenging options. Most excursions lasted about an hour, which was perfect. We returned to the yacht between adventures to grab a deliciously prepared snack and freshen up before heading off to the next one. The size of the yacht also positively influenced our experience. We were broken up into three groups of ten people, so every excursion felt personalized. Instead of just sightseeing, we learned in-depth about all the natural wonders and animals.”

“The crew and naturalists were wonderful, the food was great, the bar was superb, and the activities were non-stop. The Grace rooms were wonderful and the common areas spacious and comfortable. The wildlife, snorkeling, views and kayaking were as advertised. A great experience. It truly was an adventure and not a vacation.”

“Quasar organized the trip of a lifetime. Everything was taken care of from shuttles to airport transfers to flights...you name it. The Grace was beautiful. I was traveling with my son so we shared a room but it was spacious and comfortable and conveniently positioned for all things. The crew was incredibly attentive and friendly. The food was fantastic, our cabins were stealthily attended and even the captain participated in our daily excursions. Our expedition guides made everything fun, but they were also incredibly informative. I loved it all and can't say enough about the trip, the boat, the people and Quasar”

“This was an amazing experience from start to finish. Really enjoyed the intimacy and personal attention we got on a ship with just 16 passengers. The guides, Walter and Diego, were outstanding. They took us to all the right places to see the incredible wildlife on the land, in the air, and in the sea. The food was also excellent. Would highly recommend Quasar.”

“Quasar exceeded my expectations! This was a trip of a lifetime, and yes, you should go. Each day we didn't think it could get any better and then it did. Every detail was taken care of from meeting us at the airport to getting us to the yacht and finding our luggage in our stateroom. The staff/crew of the Evolution are very friendly and helped with every need, especially my dietary needs. The Galapogos Islands are magical. The animal and plant life there are unlike anywhere else. The blue footed boobies, the marine iguana, the lava lizards, the albatros, the hawks, the dolphins, sea lions, pilot whales, and different sharks were just a few of what we saw. I have so many favorites that it's difficult to pick just one, but swimming/snorkeling with dolphins and sea lions was at the top. However, seeing a volcano erupting from 150 yards away was beyond amazing too.”

“Our family of four had the most incredible experience with Quasar on board The Grace Yatch. For us, this experience extended beyond wildlife watching; it was an educational journey that helped us learn and appreciate our beautiful and fragile ecosystem even more. The biologists on board were outstanding and incredibly knowledgeable, providing insights into the rich biodiversity and geological formations that make this destination so unique. This unique ecosystem supports a variety of species, from the giant Galápagos tortoises to the playful sea lions, an activity that we enjoyed very much. The islands offered numerous opportunities for daily guided tours and snorkeling. The meals were amazing, and the staff was very friendly. This was an unforgettable trip. “Absolutely amazing experience! Quasar did a spectacular job from beginning to end. The hikes, snorkeling and sea kayaking were fantastic. The enthusiam of our naturalists Diego and Lola was infectious and their knowledge added greatly to our experience. Chef and food was outstanding.
