“This trip was amazing. The crew was excellent and had no trouble catering to my dietary restrictions. Though I did the full 15 day cruise it felt too short and I only wish it could have been longer.”

“Our trip to the Galapagos was indeed the trip of a lifetime. The yacht was very well appointed and the staff was well trained and extremely helpful in making our experience memorable both in their knowledge of the flora and fauna and pacing/scheduling of excursions to make the most out of our experience. One of us had a fall during one of the hikes and the doctor/staff were extremely helpful in getting him the medical support he needed. Overall it was a fantastic experience and we would recommend it to anyone looking for an adventure to a unique and beautiful place!”

“We went on the 8 day Galapagos cruise on the Grace. It was perfect. From the organization of the activities so we walked outside the heat of the day, to the selection of stops everything was thoughtful. The boat was beautiful but the highlight were the crew, from the naturalists to the captain everyone was so professional and always helpful.”

“Quasar was a wonderful choice! Since we arrived at Natales, we received a very good briefing, the vehicle was a Toyota 4Runner in excellent conditions and its GPS already charged with our hotels and suggested routes. The Hotel Gray located in a beautiful natural environment with a fantastic view of the lake, glacier and snowed mountains. Navigating on the “Lago Grey III” -an inmaculate catamaran that offers very good service (a pisco sour is a must!)-. A pleasant surprise was that english easy spoken every place we stayed or visited. The views of the Paine mountains is simple spectacular. The wildlife specially guanacos, ñandu, condors etc that you can get real close to is also surprising. I will definitely recomend all my friends visit “El fin del mundo””

“Everything from start to finish has been perfect. The planning of the trip, the reception in Puerto Natales with Rodrigo who gave us the briefing with all the instructions of the route and the vehicle we used to drive to all the destinations. “My family and I loved our Quasar trip to the Galapagos on the Evolution. The Naturalists were very knowledgable, and I appreciated that they were locals. As a biology professor, I knew I'd love seeing the tortoises, marine iquanas, mockingbirds, and dandelion trees, but I had no idea how rich the snorkeling would be. They made sure everyone on the ship could go snorkeling with three different levels of difficulty. Each group had a great experience. The food was delicious, the views were gorgeous, and we were treated with such kindness by the crew. It was an experience I will remember forever.”

“We had a one week cruise on the Grace. This was my second Quasar Galapagos trip and it even exceeded the first. Highlights were sea lions and penguins in the water and the beautiful sunsets. The crew did a great job of mixing cool activities with enough downtime to relax. Fantastic trip, we plan to go again!”

“We were pampered from the start! Quasar has exceptional staff who guided us through every step of the process, helping us navigate all forms, travel requirements and hotel accommodations. Once onboard, we were wined, dined and educated by an incredible crew. The size of the yacht was perfect as we only had 10-12 people per naturalist and learned a lot!! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and highly recommend visiting this paradise on a Quasar Expedition!”

“A big thank you to Paul and Diane for their excellent advice, planning and execution of our wonderful trip this past July/Early August. They helped us put together a two-week Ecuador tour including a colonial Quito day tour, a one-week Galapagos Cruise on Evolution, an Antisana Ecological Reserve day trip, and a 5-day Amazon visit to Yasuni National Park based at LaSelva Lodge. Every phase of the trip was excellent with high quality service providers throughout. The wildlife encounters and natural wonders exceeded our expectations. The details of our itinerary including all of the third party connections & transfers were seamlessly executed. The detailed itinerary with thorough instructions guided us well. “From my very first outreach to Paul Schicke at Quasar, I knew I had chosen the right outfit to book my Galapagos expedition. I was coordinating a trip for 12 friends & Paul went out of his way to schedule multiple zoom calls to answer all my group's questions-- starting over a year in advance of our trip! The process really assured us all that we'd be in great hands & boy were we in for the time of our lives! Our group had various needs (from the physical challenges of some/ to dietary needs of others) and we were all accomodated for in such a personal special way. I celebrated a "big" birthday while on the Grace, and the crew all knew ahead of time about this event & made my trip really one to remember. The Galapagos was a life long bucket list destination for me and the experience exceeded all my expectations. I cannot recommend Quasar & the Grace more highly! We also really enjoyed our time in Quito. The guide (JP) was excellent and tailored our city tour to really suit our groups interests.”

“This was a trip of a lifetime. The scenery in Patagonia and the Atacama Desert was beyond belief. We have never experienced such beauty every time we took a turn on our hikes. The remoteness of the Patagonia region gave the whole feeling like we were exploring the unexplored. When we showed our pictures to our family and friends, the most common thing they said is "It doesn't look real". The trip was expertly planned and executed by Quasar. Each driver and guide was top notch and professional. All the transportation and logistical details were planned and executed flawlessly. When our scheduled guide for our eight day trip through Patagonia unexpectedly was sick, Quasar had a new guide ready for us within two hours. Our guide Eduardo (Lalo) was superb. He is a local and his experience with the Chilean side of Patagonia was vast. He knew the best places to hike to and all of the secret viewpoints that were beyond the typical tourist areas. He was always concerned about our safety and was able to quickly alter our scheduled agenda when the wind was a bit too strong for certain areas. He was the number one reason our trip to Patagonia was so fantastic. The choice of hikes were all very appropriate to our skill level. The local contacts and excursions in the Patagonia and Atacama Desert were top notch. The accomodations were all stunning and the views were so much better than we could have imagined. The hotel staff and guides were well beyond what we expected. The food was incredible and plentiful. The choice of accomodations could not have been better. We have been on over 80 trips in our lifetime, and this ranks in the top three. I thank each and every person we met and spent time with for a wonderful vacation and for the most memorable moments.”
