“Before joining Quintus, I had never participated in a hands-on leadership simulation. The workshop required us to take roles, plan, and manage a crisis scenario. It felt like real-life training. I realized how much I needed to work on decision-making under pressure. The facilitator gave each of us detailed feedback. I still use those notes. There were also workshops on entrepreneurship where we built a pitch from scratch. I didn’t think I had any business sense, but I discovered I do. Working in teams was both challenging and rewarding. I learned to trust others and hold myself accountable. It wasn’t about grades, but growth. These practical workshops built more confidence in me than any classroom could. I now know I can lead, adapt, and innovate. All in three weeks!”

“The law and ethics module changed my career path. I thought I wanted to be an architect. But our workshops on case law and moral reasoning sparked a new interest. We debated real cases and had to defend opposing views. I discovered I enjoy thinking critically and forming arguments. The tutors gave space for everyone to speak. I felt heard. I’ve already started reading legal articles. I think I want to study international law now. This wouldn’t have happened without Quintus.”

“The journalism workshop was a surprise favorite. I never knew reporting required so much curiosity and empathy. We had to interview, research, and write under deadlines. Our instructor used to work at a major news outlet and shared real stories. That made it feel important. I learned how to spot bias and misinformation. The final piece I wrote is something I’m really proud of. We even printed them into a small newsletter. It was exciting seeing our names in print.”

“We had a marketing workshop that was hands-on and super fun. We had to design a product and come up with branding. Then we pitched it to a mock panel. It was like Shark Tank! I’d never considered business before, but now it seems exciting. I learned how storytelling and data go hand in hand. I also learned to listen to feedback without taking it personally. The energy in the room was incredible. Everyone was trying their best and encouraging each other. I now see marketing as both creative and analytical. I’m thinking of adding it as a future major.”

“My daughter rarely spoke up in class. But during the drama and communication workshop, something shifted. They had to express emotion, lead a scene, and respond on the spot. That challenged her in ways nothing else had. She said she was nervous, but she never felt judged. The facilitators created a space where every voice mattered. She now holds eye contact in conversations. She also volunteered to present a group project back at school. That was a big moment for us. I believe this workshop awakened her expressive side.”

“We built an app prototype in the programming workshop. I had zero experience going in. Our tutor made sure we all stayed on the same page. They broke down complicated terms and made it digestible. We worked in teams and had to design an app for solving real-life problems. We chose mental health for teens. I learned how to wireframe, how to write user flow, and how to test an idea. We even presented our final app to the cohort. I was nervous, but people clapped and asked questions. I’d never seen myself as a tech person. But now, I can.”

“The medicine workshop was intense but incredibly engaging. We examined mock patients and used real-world tools. I’d never touched medical equipment before! It made the idea of studying medicine much more real. We weren’t just memorizing—we were diagnosing, analyzing, debating. The tutors let us make mistakes and taught through them. That helped most. We ended with a challenge where we had to present a treatment plan. I was terrified but also excited. Our team nailed it. Now I want to be a doctor for sure.”
