“Kia ora! I've started engaging with Radix Nutrition NZ to see if their products suit our needs for Civil Defense. We are a large somewhat isolated marae based in rural Hawkes Bay. Following the devasting impacts that Gabrielle left on our whenua, this ignited the need to create, build and sustain an emergency hub based at our marae which is the heart of our community. The emergency hub will be used by any members of our community or those visiting at the time when a natural disaster hits – unfortunately, we’re coastal which means our biggest threat is a tsunami! It is essentially a shipping container filled with survival tools, communication equipment, first aid kits, bedding and clothing to name the basics. So far I've found the products easy to use in terms of instructions and wowsers, the breakfasts have been a hit for us! We have not tested the main meals yet as I've given these out to some members of the community for their feedback. It's important to get feedback from the wider hapori. What I can rate 5 stars is their customer service. Following from a late night email, Xavier has been extremely helpful, engaging and giving me guidance where and when needed. I found him to be understanding of my plight. Thank you to him and his team!”
