“A couple years ago I got a few samples of packages to try out but did not do longer hikes that year. About 2 ago I was diagnosed with coeliac and while clearing my food items realized that Radix was (is?) coeliac certified. I took those packages on my overseas trip as ‘emergency’ food where I cannot find anything coeliac safe. I was very surprised so great they taste. Honestly, better then my cooking. Now I get it for my all travels, that definitely helps me a lot. I just would love to see some chicken or beef meals back.”

“I tried the sample packs of whey powder and have ordered some big packs, I am quite happily swapping from the brand that I used as Radix didn’t have any aftertaste and wasn’t gritty. The mango flavour is delicious”

“I have just started using radix meals for hunting and they are delicious and extremely filling. The packaging is smaller than similar brand so are great for multi day hunts as they take less room.”

“My first time I heard of Radix was when we were given free samples at Kirikiriroa marathon. I tried this prior to the event and enjoyed the coconut flavour. I have used on occasions prior to doing events. I have just got the breakfast sample to try and real keen to use prior to doing the Tarawera ultra. The protein mix was real easy and easy to take. Delivery was rapid. My breakfast sample I received notice about an hour after ordering that the courier had already picked it up”

“Have to admit, I didnt realise my Original 600 Peri-Peri was plant based until we were sitting at the Pinnacles Hut. Mixed it up and it was... delicious! Good flavours, not too salty which is common with some brands. Little bit of kick, but nothing crazy. I've just reordered a bunch for The Milford Track in a months time.”

“The whey sample packs are great, love that they include BCAAs. All of them mix really well with water, but not as well with milk (maybe I should try warming up the milk next time). All the flavours are great, love the mango one especially. Great prices too, well worth the money!”
