“I ordered a 4yd skip for 14th May which arrrived on a large truck unable to get in the drive despite the fact that I had explained the drive width wasn’t really wide. I assumed then that I would have to settle for a 2yd skip as I was told you didn’t have smaller trucks so had to settled for that although I knew it would never be big enough. A smaller truck organised by REM arrived the following day from a different company and the man who delivered it said a 4yd skip could easily have been brought in. Why didn’t Rem simply change trucks and redeliver? Rem have charged me £393 for a 4yd skip and say they will not reimburse me as the balance will pay for failed delivery on 14th! Why should I be paying nearly £200 for a failed delivery? I don’t know who I spoke to originally but I definitely told her about the drive size as it is an issue for very large vehicles and I wasn’t expecting such a big one to arrive. I have found the service very poor and stressful and I will never use you again. I am a 83 yr old woman and your customer service bad.
Paying upfront too is unacceptable when there is no proper redress.”
“My experience with REMwaste.com - http://www.remwaste.com/ - was unfortunately very bad for many reasons as follows and would recommend AGAINST working them:
1) The quotes provided on their website cannot be relied upon. They changed the quote on multiple occasions after it was too late for me to cancel. Extremely unprofessional and lacking decency.
2) They promised a three-day turnaround and to arrange parking approval with the local council. They did not deliver on either promise. This resulted in me incurring substantial costs.
3) They got fined and wanted to charge me for the fine.
4) They did not proceed with a promised refund.
The incompetence was rife and I would advise not to work with them. Terrible terrible service and awful competence.
