“I mostly look using the ipad app & I also use Zoopla. I prefer the latter as I can delete properties immediately from my search. The vast majority of properties shown are in areas I don't want to live but reducing the radius would mean missing some in places I would.”

“I have found Rightmove invaluable in helping me to narrow down what I am looking for. At this time of great upheaval in my life (separating from my husband of 34 years) it is very difficult to work out exactly what I need and want, and what will be really important to me in the future. Searching on Rightmove gives me the ability to explore different options and have a more open mind without taking up the time of Estate Agents and vendors. It is also a very efficient way of finding out what is available and how much it is reasonable to expect to pay, how prices are affected by different areas, etc. Satellite and street views are extremely valuable when looking at an area that is unfamiliar. I have found setting up alerts on Rightmove to be faster and more reliable than registering with Estate Agents. How did we manage before the internet?”

“Right move gives loads of helpful information (although it should probably loose content more than a few years old) when buying and selling property (rentals have always moved too quickly for us to see something on a website and then look at it).”
