“It is most helpful to be able search for a property when one is far away from the area in question . it is helpful to be able to narrow the search by indicating what kind of property is sought, the price bands, and to expand the area. The information on each property is well thought through especially giving floorplans. The only criticism I have is that sometimes a property is permitted to advertise as for sale when it is under offer. Most which are under offer are so stated but I know for a fact that a flat in Chichester was advertised as for sale for months when it was under offer. Apparently this was requested by the owner but I think Rightmove should stipulate honesty and accuracy at all times.”

“Rightmove is such a good website in every way. I only have ONE thing that I think could be done to improve it - I think when you're looking for somewhere to rent, you should have the option of filtering out student properties. In our area 50-60% of all property to rent is student lets and it's annoying to have to scroll through them. Other than that, the website is invaluable :)”

“Rightmove is the first housing website I look at. Occasionally I find it to be slightly behind other websites but it generally gives good info. I appreciate that it is reliant on Estate Agents submitting their details accurately and promptly. I wish it would encourage all Estate Agents to use floorplans - these give a very good idea of how the property is laid out.”
