I have been having really terrible Incompetent experiences trying to deal with this useless company namely Rointe. They don't reply to e mails and there tech support rep is useless!!! Please, please don't buy any radiators from this totally incompetent company otherwise you will have to endure the issues that I am still having!!! ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก That solution

Defective by Design, Abysmal Customer Service - A Nightmare Experience I am writing this review as a warning to any potential Rointe customer, be it a homeowner or a fellow property developer. My experience with their D-Series heaters and their UK support team has been nothing short of a disaster, revealing a product with a fundamental design flaw and a company that refuses to stand by its faulty workmanship. I purchased two Rointe D-Series heaters, trusting the brand's reputation for quality. Within the first year, one of the heaters began to malfunction, spontaneously rebooting every minute. To their credit, at that time (January 2021), Rointe acknowledged this was a known fault and sent a replacement control panel under warranty, which fixed the issue. Fast forward to this year, and the exact same fault has occurred again in the first heater, and now the second heater is malfunctioning in precisely the same way. These heaters are only used for three months of the year, meaning they have failed after just a few months of cumulative use. For comparison, my previous electric heaters from a different brand lasted over a decade without a single issue. When I contacted Rointe support, I was informed that the heaters were now just outside their 3-year electrical warranty. Despite the clear evidence of a recurring manufacturing defect that they had previously acknowledged, they quoted me an insulting ยฃ360 + VAT + carriage to fix the two faulty units. This is not a wear-and-tear issue; it is a clear failure of a core component that points to shoddy workmanship. A premium product should not fail twice in such a short period of operational use. The customer service experience has been equally abysmal. Emails are often unsigned, coming from a generic "UK & IE Technical Support Technician," which makes the process feel impersonal and unaccountable. After I expressed my extreme dissatisfaction and laid out the history of the fault, I was told on November 18th, 2024, that my case was being passed to a manager for review and that they would be in touch. I never heard from them again. This complete lack of follow-up is unprofessional and shows a total disregard for customer satisfaction. As a property developer, I have always sought out reliable and high-quality fixtures for my projects. I initially chose Rointe for my own home and recommended them for my properties. I have now instructed all of my contractors to never use or recommend a Rointe product again. I will be replacing my units with a more reliable brand and will make sure to share this experience widely online. If you are considering Rointe, I urge you to look elsewhere. The products are unreliable, inefficient, and in the event of a problem, you will be met with a brick wall of unhelpful and unresponsive customer service. Avoid this brand at all costs.

I invested a substantial amount with rointe, believing they were a legitimate broker. Everything seemed fine until I tried to withdraw my funds. Suddenly, they stopped responding, and I realized I had been scammed. Thankfully, I found MADACOVI.CO and they helped me recover my money. Their team was professional and efficient, and I canโ€™t recommend them enough to anyone in a similar situation. Avoid rointe at all costs, and if you've already been a victim, contact Via MADACOVI.CO

I was promised profit by many brokers but it was all lies and deceit. I had lost money trading on a few platforms which i later got to know that they were all scam. I have to hire a recovery company โ€œ. ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ญ๐ฌ๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ19930@๐ ๐ฆ๐š๐ข๐ฅ.๐œ๐จ๐ฆโ€ to help me figure out the problem. They were understanding and patient, took their time to make me understand how it all really works. My money which was $361000 in total was reclaimed and returned back to me including profits. Rointe Kyros radiator is Not a smart timer or smart anything. The settings are tricky so contacted customer support. They have confirmed that you cannot set the timer to any time that you want, it can only switch on and off on the hour. I wanted it to switch on at 06:30 and off at 07:30 each day.. however the timer only enables setting on the hour which means I will have to have it switch on at 6am and off at 8am meaning that with the evening on and off with the extra hour, over the year I am using an extra 500 to 600 hours of electricity at what cost!!. When I spoke with support they confirmed that others had also complained but they cannot do anything about it. I think that Rointe must have shares in our electricity company because they are going to cost me a fortune.. definitely not smart, very, very dumb. Save your money and check on the basics before you buy a different make that has a 21st century operating system.

These heaters top notch WIFI set up was a pain only complaint. OLD HOUSE BUILT IN 1800 Installed the 1400 version in master bedroom as a trail of running costs. Set app time schedule for 20 hours at maintained temperature of 16c Set app time schedule for 2 hours before we get up and we go to bed at 21c The running cost for a full 24 hours was ยฃ1.75 at a electricity rate of ยฃ0.285 per KWH. So running cost was 0.07p per hour for the bedroom Just ordered another 3

I bought two D Series radiators for my lounge and both were faulty. The first 1600 had an oil leak and has stained my carpet. The second one was faulty but was left in my porch all over Xmas before it was collected. The other heater a 770 is replacing an existing Kyros heater by Rointe but the lead is much shorter, so isnโ€™t compatible with my electrics. After all the trouble Iโ€™ve had, they now want to charge me to extend the cable another 6 inches when the engineer comes out to replace the faulty control panel. Iโ€™m not happy and wonโ€™t be recommending this company again๐Ÿคข๐Ÿคข๐Ÿคข

Rointe D Series. The D Stands for DISAPPOINTMENT! I purchased two D series Rointe heaters costing over ยฃ1000 with the hope of adding to my smart home devices expecting an equally seamless experience from what I deemed to be a high end brand especially considering the price. I have been very disappointed and had I known would have steered clear of the Rointe D series heaters. Although confident in Rointeโ€™s ability to make electric heaters, before purchasing please read the App reviews and comments for "Rointe Connect" the Android and iOS App for the D Series and it should be clear to all that ROINTE DO NOT KNOW HOW TO MAKE SMART HEATERS OR THE APPS REQUIRED TO RUN SMART HEATERS. This foray into smart heaters, based on the software comes across in execution like a rushed final year student software project which aptly enough would also receive a D grade. As an IT professional on an iPhone X it took me over 4 hours troubleshooting my own home 2.4GHZ network connection and router not knowing the flaws where really in the implementation of the Rointe D series software from the bug that stops you from deleting a heater with the error โ€œcannot delete -Heater Name- till room is emptyโ€ on iOS even though it IS empty. To resolve this I had to use an Android phone version on another phone. To the firmware update feature on the app, that does not work. The firmware only updates via the physical heater menu but nowhere are we made aware of this. Then thereโ€™s the delayed communication between the app and heater when you initially setup the app. I have never experienced such poor software implementation with any other smart device in my home, yet the Rointe technical support team insisted it was my network. After trouble shooting on my own I realised that after connecting the app to the heater the latency issue resolves itself after around 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on luck so I suspect there is an external server running at Rointe that deals with the configuration which may be slow in configuring newly added devices (this has not been confirmed though any input from Rointe would be appreciated). Why didnโ€™t Rointe also add Bluetooth communication because the D series WiFi implementation is a shambles. Donโ€™t get me wrong the heater itself works great, but the D series was advertised as having smart features with the cool Rointe Connect App many of which do not work or are flaky, hit and miss and a flat out disappointment. The tech support team (2 people) ran me through the usual excuses of blaming my WiFi network, blaming WiFi interference and then asked me to switch my router on and off again. All to no avail and only proving their own lack of understanding of the flaws and issues in the product line and the numerous potential customer challenges this creates as one assumes they are getting a finished working product. In summary this is a half baked product with huge potential if Rointe would iron out all the bugs but itโ€™s been over 4 years and you would have thought all these software problems would have been fixed by now. Save yourself money and buy their standard heater products with a remote or expect hours of frustration and troubleshooting with the D series. Sort it out Rointe, your customers deserve better.

Rointe's customer service is absolutely shocking. I placed a support call back in March about an error I was getting on my app and despite chasing several times they haven't even bothered to acknowledge it. On 21/7 I placed another support call about software not updating. I have chased now 3 times and again they have not even acknowledged it. Overall, a terrible customer experience. They appear to have nothing but contempt for their customers.

Great customer service. The sales assistant was brilliant - so helpful and knowledgeable. And the radiator itself is exactly what we wanted. The heating out of it is fantastic! It's really transformed our converted garage space. Delighted! Would definitely recommend.

Good heaters but the Wifi control is a nightmare as is registering your products on their website. Support is also scanty and perfunct, at best. Good ideas but they lack rigour, robustness and attention to detail. Overall, a poor customer experience
