I enjoyed it, but there wasn't really any proper changing facilities and no lockers to store valuables. Plus, I didn't realise that the 'cold plunges' would be so communal that you're just bathing in water that other people have bathed in. It's a cold, static bath, rather than a cold plunge. Wouldn't have minded about these things if it was cheaper, but at £30, I was expecting something a bit more 'premium'.

Very cool views and the sauna was clean and hot. However, the cold water bath was empty which meant we had to share with other cabins. Additionally, the cold water baths weren’t particularly clean. It did feel quite rushed/ tight on timing as you were quickly ushered out for cleaning as soon as the clock was up - often meaning you were having to get changed quite exposed as there wasn’t enough changing rooms outside of the saunas. It would be nice if your slot included changing time.

lovely neighbourhood sauna - affordable and relaxing! staff were very sweet. wish the private cool-down area was more private, and that the cabins were more insulated from other people’s conversations. toilet not functioning on this visit / shared change room not very clean.

The sauna is nice and it's one of the very few places where you don't have to wear a sweaty swimsuit. However, for some reason they removed the curtains from the cabin which takes away the privacy. Especially as there were often people going by who were not sauna guests. It would also be good to have the option for cold water on the inside showers.

It’s a great place to be in. Today however was my first time using the express Sauna - I definitely recommend having a curtain in that area so the person using it has some sort of privacy whilst showering.

It was a good experience but I was looking for a relaxing time and paid for “peak” price but the bar next door was very loud so wasn’t very zen.

The room was clean and the sauna was HOT! The branches were skinny and made laying down difficult. the cold water was not so cold. it was a 30min sauna but the time was actually 25min, didn't like that. Top end pricey for what you get.

I've been a few times to rooftop saunas. Until my last time I've loved it but I have to say it's not as good as it used to be - the curtain/doors to each cabin have been removed so you don't have the feleing of your own space anymore. It also means it's not clear what is your space and someone walked into our cabin to grab a drink, understandably thinking they were for everyone (they were booked on the express sauna so didn't have access to their own). It was a bit awkward for everyone and could've been avoided. Also not all the plug pools were filled so there was no space for us and we had to go and find someone and ask them to fill the one outside our cabin.

Today we went to celebrate our friend birthday. When we arrived there we were introduced to the sauna and the facilities by one of the staff members ( can’t remember his name) . We were explained that at the end of the session there would be an alarm clock that would let us know when the session finished . Unfortunately 10’ before our session finished this staff member came and kicked us out of the sauna and told us we had to leave immediately because he had to clean the sauna for next session. He stayed at the door while we were getting changed repeating that we have to leave while the session wasn’t finished or the alarm didn’t go. Not only were we rushed and were not able to shower or fully enjoy the sauna that we paid for but the we were rushed ruined the experience for our friend. We would not come back neither would we recommend this place

The place is really clean and relaxing. One thing to watch out for: there's a glass door inside the sauna. You have to crouch to get through the first door, making it hard to see the glass one. My friend bumped his head on it and thought he had a concussion. He had a bit of a headache for the whole session and ended up with a bump on his head. It would be great if they could put some stickers on the glass door to make it more visible.

Would be better if it was an enclosed space, but still a pleasant experience! Staff super friendly.

Sauna is so so nice, plunge pool could have been colder. I think it’s expensive seeing as you need to bring your own towels and shampoo.

Nice settings. The water needs to be changed in the barrels more often as there was hair left from previous guests. The filtered barrels are also colder. Pretty expensive in comparison to other sauna places.

I came for my birthday for a 7:30 am session and even though I was the only one. I did feels rushed a little as the lady was setting up by herself. I arrived at 7:20 to give myself time to get ready but as soon as I was in my cabin the lady set the timer on the sauna and I hadn’t even got changed yet so that ate up my time. Was also a rushed when leaving . Beautiful set up and facilities not the best customer service

The view incredible. Really nicely built saunas. There was no hourglass timer on the inside of the sauna. As it was a private sauna we wished to go nude. But did not feel comfortable doing so as there was no door to the private area. Just a flimsy sheet that hung loosely in the doorway which did not provide very much privacy. Also the tiled floor was very cold on the feet outside. I think haveing some sort of mat. (obviously something that is ok to be wet and outdoors and is easily cleanable) would have made the experience outside the sauna a bit nicer. Regarding the plunge pool. I didn't see how it was filled, I'm not sure how long it had been sitting in this tub. Unsure of the cleanliness of it. Overall, it was a nice but a couple details would have made it better. Also, due to the price I might not come back. If you offered public saunas as well that would be great.

Hey Laura, thanks for the feedback - super helpful as we are all about the detail. I think you came for a sauna in our 1st week and the hour/timer glasses had not yet arrived (they have now and are looking lovely) Since your visit we have also added weights to the fabric curtains that are allow privacy in the cool down area, so that will help, but its noteworthy that the inside of the actual sauna cabin is blocked by a solid door, so privacy (and soundproofing for the city!) is assured within. The plunge pools are regularly refilled and cleaned (as they are oak barrel the water within will always look dark) We are absolutely planning open days in the next months, so its great to hear that theres the demand there. Hope to see you again soon - The team at Rooftop Saunas
