“Ordered $90 worth of spray paint cans(3-13.5oz), $17 in shipping totaling $107USD. Today UPS notified me $52.38 tariff charge that RS selectively forgot to mention.
I’ve emailed multiple times asking if the charge of $52.38 is correct with zero responses. However when I conversed with them about purchasing the paint, quick responses, polite. Another company that I hoped to do more business with but their actions speak louder than words.”

I bought 2 pints for $200. Tariffs from the UK should be 25%. Today I refused delivery due to a $470 (%235) tariff charge. RS Paint agreed the charge was in error while not offering to correct or remedy the error in any way. Very disappointed and I’m out $200 for the non refundable original purchase.
They should not offer products to the USA as they clearly aren’t able to properly import them or offer any assistance at correcting importation errors.
I had high hopes for RS Bike Paint but now just feel robbed.”
“I would like to thank Phil at R/S Paints for the service and quick delivery of the base and colour (9812) candy wine red for my 1998 Kawasaki ZZR1100 D6. I called Phil at 16.00hrs on Friday 15/08/2025, he managed to find a previous order on the old system and duplicated it. Today is Tuesday 19/08/2025 and at 11.00hrs the UPS delivery arrived. I also had another order a few years ago for the colour (26470) Nebulous Black metallic for my 2010 Honda Goldwing. On both occasions the sprayer has commented on the quality of the paint / match and the finish was as good if not better than if had just come off the production line. So thanks once again to RS Paints.”

“Be cautious when seeking assistance over the phone.
I called to determine the color of touch-up paint needed for my Yamaha bike, and the man on the other end provided the necessary code but mentioned that a base paint was also required, resulting in two 25mm pots of paint costing an astonishing £31.80.
Since the price was quite high, I inquired about the possibility of returning the paint for a full refund if it didn't match, and he assured me that I could. He then sent a sample plate (photos of the sample plate next to my bike are included) so I could verify the color without opening the expensive pots of paint.
As it turned out, the paint did not match, so I called back to request a refund for the paints. However, he informed me that he would not issue a refund because he couldn't sell the paints as second-hand. The sample plate was included in the package to prevent me from opening the paint.
The photos also show the sticker on the bag indicating to color match beforehand, which I clearly did.
In conclusion, all I can say is DO NOT trust them.”

“As a first time user I was delighted with RS Paints. Firstly with the support and help of how to achieve the best results and secondly with the colour match. I trusted their advice even though it, to my eye, didn't look right and was so happy I did, as the end result was a perfect match. I then purchased a small touch up for some chip marks on a rare colour Yamaha. Again spot on with the colour but results with a brush aren't as good. Which I put down to me.”
