We're very sorry to hear that your Pedal Commander caused damage to your vehicle. We have installed hundreds of these and have not seen this happen once. With that said, there is always a possibility of damage when using a device that "hacks" the vehicle's code. Give us a call and ask for our service manager. We would like to know exactly what went wrong when to help this not happen with others that have bought or might buy one of these.
