Don't buy any footwear from here they will rip you off. My wife had a Physio assessment and they Recommended here so my wife went in and explained that the physio had recommended a Certain type of trainer. And she needed a pair that she could wear all the time so she paid £135. And they said it came with a 12 month warranty. 3 months later a hole opened up on the top of the trainer she went in to see them and they said sorry that it doesn't come under the warranty WHAT A JOKE so if you buy any footwear from here don't put them on. Just put them in the box and look at them

Booked a gait analysis yesterday and I had excellent service today from Joe in the Piccadilly branch. He was so knowledgeable, patient and he did not pressure me to buy anything. I did buy a pair of Brooks and so far I’m loving it them

I visited Runners Need at Cotswold Outdoor Cirencester on Saturday 28th May. I needed a new running top and shorts. I had a good browse but couldn’t quite get my head around the fact that none of female garments I was interested in had a price tag!!! I couldn’t believe it. There didn’t appear to be anyone working in Runners Needs shop and if there had of been I’d have had to ask for prices for multiple items which is just silly. In the end I saw some shorts I really liked hanging on a size 10 hanger so took them downstairs to the main tills to get a price. I was fed up, but I brought them as my last pair in this brand wore well, but when I got them home the shorts were on the incorrect hanger so wasn’t my size at all! I really don’t feel like driving back over. It was just ridiculous why put clothes out you haven’t priced up. Cotswolds Outdoor used to sell running gear. They were fab and they still are fab. Why they’ve sublet their part of their shop to this substandard service goodness knows. I won’t be going back into Runners Need again. I would have got better service buying I will just get it online from another retailer. Cotswold Outdoors - please do yourself a favour and put your running gear back in house - your staff are really good and have the knowledge to help runners out.

I visited the store in Piccadilly on 20/04/2021 at approximately 6.30pm. It’s located on the LG floor in the Cotswolds retail store. There was one sales attendant with one female customer. At the time, I was the second customer. I was completely ignored, the sales attendant didn’t acknowledge my presence or at least look towards me to say hello. I recognised the shoe I wanted to try on after an extensive online search and I was holding it, while waiting patiently nearby. I was still being ignored and at this point, was feeling impatient. A third customer entered the shop and the sales attendant looked up and spoke to him, but continued to completely blank me. I was so furious and shocked that anyone could be so rude. I will never go to that store again and I will definitely share my experience with other people. I will most likely buy my shoes at a different store, other than Runners Need.

On the 28th July 2020, I went to Runners Need Kensington store to request for a gait analysis at 11:40 am, the sales consultant respond was that I need to book an appointment online in advance even though there was only one other customer in store. He also did not offer me to book the appointment in store until I asked about it directly. So I booked an appointment with him for Thursday 11:45 am and today I got an email to confirm my appointment for 11:15 am. :( This shows how badly organised he is. I was served by a white male sale consultant in Runners Need Kensington store and he was serving at the till. I believe he did not make much effort to help me in my purchase, instead he made it so inconvenient for me. I would not go back to this store and will be purchasing my running shoes from a different shop.

Awful. Ordered online and shoes came USED dirty soles, stretched to shape of a foot, marked and smelly. Emailed about this and was simply told to return them and they’d pay return postage. Two weeks later got an email confirming return (not including postage!!) and it’s been nearly a month and I’m yet to receive the money

I was given a pair as a birthday present as I get terribly sore feet whilst exercising. I went through the full process and was delighted with the comfort of the asics shoes. Even if they weren't the most attractive looking shoes, comfort took precedence. Unfortunately after less than 3 months the rubber grip sole began peeling off my £120 shoes. Expecting to be able to take them back and be given a refund (or preferably a new or similar pair) on the spot I was instead told I needed to get them back to the original store where they could be replaced. Upon contacting the original store I was then told they needed to be inspected and sent away and that I could expect a response in 4 weeks. Not ideal considering I require them every day and can't exactly rent a pair for the four weeks. I now have to buy a new pair or put my running off for up to four weeks. Poor customer service and no one willing to help but instead referring to the rigid policy. The fault may be Asics issue but as they were purchased from an agent (Runners Need) I would expect them to take responsibility and sort my issue out and deal with Asics themselves.

not able to compete with the competition, even when I was willing to pay more for shopping at Runnersneed (about £7), still not willing to meet me at a fair point.
