“Omg what can I say, I received two orders that I placed recently all came within a couple of days. Baby doll dress is lovely, can't wait for you to get more in, the midi length Kaftan is beautiful the beading on it is beautiful. Cotton Asymmetrical top is great, hope you get more colors, magnetic buttons are going to come in handy, I bought 4 pairs of wooden earrings they are so light and fashionable with any outfit, the alive intention silver bracelet is also very cute. I am so impressed with everything I purchased as this is my first purchase from you, I am looking forward to purchasing more fabulous items from your store. Victoria”

“Oh, my goodness! I just received my Ocean Lightweight Wool Swing Jacket! It looked gorgeous in the photo, but in person...? Unbelievably beautiful! This is a show stopper, and I can't wait to wear it! This is my fourth purchase (I'm addicted now) and delivery took a bit longer than usual because of weather delays. Never mind. It's always worth the wait.”

“What a great company! Love your work and how you are making a difference both in another country and here at home. How many companies can you really talk to, (like someone is actually there) and you are heard with compassion and action. I had an issue with trying to be a novice shopper online and received a compassionate and humorous reply on the learning curve for everyone (Yes!) then another one with quality control on some beading and received a beautiful explanation, apology and partial generous refund, which I appreciated. As I told them, it will provide for my work of fixing the beading, to be done with a whole lot of Love and Appreciation, for the women who contributed to making this beautiful garment. Marvelous work Ladies - all of you.”

Hi Wendy! Yes, there really is a huge learning curve for online shopping--for retailers and customers alike! A problem we have with taking images of the silk is that, even in a matte finish, the fabric is reflective and shows differently in different lights. We use the brightest lights possible but that lighting situation is rarely repeated in real life. In the future, we would be happy to send you a video of the piece in different lights so you can have a better idea of the colouring. As for the loose appliqued discs, we are so sorry! As you know, each of our fabrics was once a previously worn sari and as such we sometimes see issues with the fabrics or appliques. If a piece is flawed or in need of repair, we add it to our Wabi Sabi (or Perfectly Imperfect) Collection and change 50% off. In this way, we are still able to recycle the fabric and honour the artisans for their labour in creating the piece. The flaws in this piece were clearly missed by us during our pre-shipping inspection, as such we would like to offer you a refund of 50% of the price of the dress along with our sincerest apologies. Thank you for your support of sustainable fashion! (We hope you enjoyed the FAZL socks!)
