“Caution! Get pricing UP FRONT! With that said, the service provided was top notch. Mike was great and was put in a very difficult position. I requested the annual $99 rodding of my sewer line through the online form on your website. The service that was provided was apparently a $279 service that I was NOT aware of. When I paid Mike, in cash, he accepted it and drove off. He returned a few minutes later and claimed that I shorted him. I explained that I requested the $99 service and would NOT be paying $279. He countered with $149 saying that was as low as he was authorized to go. I requested to talk to his manager. The regional manager Bill was very curt and rude claiming, "We don't do that $99 annual deal anymore"(it is available and is on their website). He then proclaimed, "The $99 deal is only for clogged sewer lines in emergency situations. The service you got was $279". Bill would NOT budge, even though the mistake was clearly on their end! I was then sent an email and a text to pay the additional $50. This is TERRIBLE customer service and The Scottish Plumber, who I have used for the better part of 10 years, will NEVER get one cent of my money ever again. Like I said, get the pricing up front.”
