Booked appt for blow dry as out tonight for a party and with short fine hair I wanted a bit more umph or volume. Arrived in plenty of time for express blow dry, seated, nice coffee then 15 mins until my stylist saw me. Understand that salon was busy but plenty of others around who could have done it? Lovely shampoo and head massage but then another long wait by which time my fine hair was nearly dry. Some volumising products applied but really very disappointing, hair no different then when I walked in. Haven't been for a while and at this rate won't be back. Sorry.

I went to have a wash and blow-dry at the Cambridge store. I told the girl specifically that I wanted it blow dried straight (no volume) as I have frizzy hair. I have had this done at many hair dressers before and it has always come out beautifully straight and soft. After the lady did the blow dry my hair was as fizzy as ever. I had never had any hair dresser blow dry my hair that bad before - I did not think it was possible. When I left I had to tie it back up (I have short hair) as it was too fizzy. This was my first time here and given the cheap price of the blow dry (20 quid) I came to realise that this is not really a professional salon. So you get what you pay for (which is why I did not complain).

Really disappointed with my haircut at the Sutton Branch. It didn't sit right so tried washing it and drying it myself when I got home just to see if it was the way it had been dried. It wasn't. I went back to the Worcester Park branch just before closing to get them to check the cut and it was uneven in many places and it needed to be cut again. Wasn't just me being fussy! It's still not right but as it ended up a lot shorter than I asked for I feel I need to wait a few weeks before I can get it sorted ( and pluck up the courage to go for another haircut ). I went to Sean Hanna after reading excellent reviews and i wanted to find a hairdresser I trust. Feel back to square one again. The colour on the other hand was very good hence 2 stars rather than one.

Visited the salon after being recommended. Firstly visited for a cut - the cut is fine. Visited a few days later for an all over colour. The colourist seemed very busy and so had an apprentice helping. The apprentice did most of the colour herself and was left to do all the back of my hair without supervision so that the stylist could go to other clients. Speaking to the apprentice, she had only been working there for 5months and trains once every 2 weeks. She seemed to be really struggling. My hair is VERY patchy. Wasn't very noticeable in salon (poor lighting in there, styled in a curly way so couldn't see colour properly). Very unhappy with colour as I was very keen to have an even all over colour and to do this regularly in preparation for my wedding. My roots have been dyed much darker than the rest. It looks horrible. Will not be recommending nor will I be revisiting. Will have to look at having this colour stripped. Waste of money.

Victoria at Sean Hanna Bristol cut my hair a couple of times and she was absolutely fantastic; some of best cuts I have ever had. She wasn't available when I wanted to change my appointment at short notice so I got an appointment with Adam. Personally, I didn't like his style - too over the top for me. When his aunt arrived at salon, Adam left me for about 10 minutes while he went to chat with her. NOT IMPRESSED. The front and side of my hair looked good when finished, but as soon as my husband saw it he said one side was shorter than the other at the back by about an inch. My friends also said the same thing. I did have an appointment to go back to see Adam for him to rectify it, but unfortunately I was sick and missed it. I then decided that I didn't want to go back to see Adam and I cancelled my next scheduled appointment. Am now looking for another hairdresser, but would only to back to Sean Hanna if Victoria was there. I don't think there's any chance of that as Adam said she had left due to health issues.

I am very precious about my hair and only go to places to get it done that I feel I can trust. I went to Sean Hanna Bristol for the first time last week to get my highlights done. I heard good things and the prices seamed reasonable so I went in feeling confident they would do a good job. I wanted them to match the colour I already have which is a golden blonde and I specifically asked about 5 times for them NOT to put any ash tones in. The lights in the shop made my hair look a lot more golden than it was and to my horrow when I got home I could see how bright and white it looked- they had put so many ash tones in! It looks awful and doesn't suit me and I'm so upset about it because it cost me a lot of money! I'm now having to go to London to get a proper hair salon to sort it out as I don't trust Sean Hanna anymore and I WILL NOT be visiting them again. Very upset and unhappy.
