“Love the reading recommendations, whilst not in the Uk I do live the interviews with writers and have now read several of the books recommended. I had them shipped and the service was prompted. The team even suggested a cheaper way to post which I appreciated. Definitely on my list to visit in 2025. Keep up the excellent work.”

“Sherlock and pages is my favorite bookstore. Such a great selection of reading material the only drawback for me is shipping. I live in Germany and the shipping fees are ridiculous.”

“While I’ve never had the pleasure of visiting Frome and the shop in person, my online experience and my social media interactions with Luke have been extraordinary! I recently ordered two books, which arrived at my door in Canada well packaged and in beautiful condition. Cannot wait to explore the shop and Frome in person very soon!”

“Niche bookshop with great Titles and service to match. I started to watch them on Instagram and then on their website. I live in rural Australia and have now puchased twice from Sherlock and Pages. Books arrive promptly and well packed. I dream of visiting the shop one day.”

“I have had several orders from Sherlock and Pages, and they have become one of my favourite bookshops! I decided last year to try and avoid a certain giant corporation and having discovered the joy of beautifully wrapped and boxed books which arrive looking like they’ve been treated with care is just so lovely!! The books arrive very quickly (to the East Yorkshire Coast), and I’ve never had to wait more than a couple of days. It is one of my first go-to bookshops now, even though I live far, far away!!”

“Luke and Agathe have started something good in this little shop in Frome; something that will continue to grow and make a real difference. It’s exciting to find such a carefully and tastefully curated range of books on all the topics I love to read about, and the Sherlock & Pages passion for excellent writing is infectious. Although I have purchased from the shop during a visit to Somerset, I have used the website too, and can recommend it. A wonderful range of books and quick delivery once you’ve made your choice. Great service all round. Long live the hedgerows! 🍂”

“Excellent book shop with a fantastic array of books and friendly, helpful staff. I always head here when I'm looking for books about nature, natural history and heritage, the out of doors and environmental issues. Really easy to order online if you can;t get to the shop in-person, too!”
