I recently ordered a pair of DM (Adelaide) Henrietta Oxford shoes direct from DM's own website in their clearance sales - but they are only offering the Oxblood version in the sales. In fact the only other colour you can get direct from them (albeit full RRP price of £100/pair) are the Black ones. Through my online browsing, I found Shoes International (SI) and they're offering the DMs at £15 cheaper than full RRP! Plus they're offering the shoes in their original range of three colours (Oxblood, Black and Oak)! Because I am madly in love with the shoes, I ordered two pairs in the colour I don't already own. Having said that, I was fully prepared for SI to come back to me and say "sorry the manufacturer has stopped the Oak version, would you like to cancel it or order a different colour" etc etc etc... I put in my order on a Friday 5 August, by Monday 8 August I received an email telling me to expect delivery in 14 working days. Then yesterday Tuesday 23 August, I got an email telling me they've shipped my shoes and by 15:50 Wednesday 24 August I received delivery of both shoes!!! I am totally over the moon with the service... just BRILLIANT! I mean I have had no need to contact and communicate with them direct, but from reading all reviews I can imagine they'd be super efficient and super helpful! I would definitely be using SI again in the future and will honestly, "from bottom of my heart" kind, be recommending them to friends! Well done guys and keep up the good service! I love the personalised message in the box too! Note: (a) Chaps... despite the shoes being marketed for ladies... don't be scared, they're not too feminine and the heels are only about 1.5"! (b) If you are in between sizes (and have wide-ish feet) you ought to round it up to the next size up. In fact I originally ordered size UK6.5 when I ordered direct from DM but had to return it and re-ordered size UK7, because the shoes are a bit narrow. All in all, if you love the look of the shoes... go for it! I thoroughly recommend them and definitely recommend Shoes International!!!

“When I experienced a problem with the delivery, Shoes International were very keen to see it sorted out and to make sure I was happy. Very good and attentive customer service. The Mephisto men's slides are brilliant. My husband wore them constantly while on holidays recently. We did a lot of walking and my husband found them very comfortable.”

However, sometimes if an item sells in our retail shop it can leave the website out of date for a short period. We also advertise a wide range of products which we believe to be available from our suppliers at short notice - in this way we can offer such a wide variety of footwear. We do update the site as soon as we are made aware that a particular style or size is not available. “Their customer service is excellent, my daughter's shoes arrived the following day. I was surprised to find the Primigi shoes in a size 35, at a very good price. As I'm not too far away I will be popping into their store in Halifax to have a good shop. Highly recommended store and a real pleasure to do business with. Well done Shoes International, it's nice to find a store that appreciates its customers and goes that extra mile.”

“Despite my shoe size not being in stock, and therefore no purchase in the end, I was very impressed with the personal service offered by Shoes International and the attention to detail shown throughout my original order and subsequent enquiries, return of postage costs etc. I would most definitely buy through this company again and would recommend others do so too!”

“Outstanding Service! I received the pair of Mephisto shoes here in the USA that I ordered from Shoes International in exactly one week from the time I placed the order. There was a nice handwritten note included in the box thanking me for the order and hoping that the shoes arrived in satisfactory condition. The shoes fit fine and I look forward to ordering again from this company.”

“I have one negative. I purchsed two pairs of shoes on the same order. I am amazed the the postage (to Australia) on each pair was the same amount. I would have expected there to be a reduction when two pairs (or more) are ordered, packed and posted at the one time. I also formed the impression that the amount charged fpr postage and packing almost certainly somewhat exceeded your costs. The product and delivery times met my expectations and hopes.”

We do not save any money by shipping items together. Having reviewed the footwear you ordered, I am satisfied that the shipping you were charged was appropriate and was in fact very similar to the cost incurred by ourselves.
