“Good quality plates let down by poor very expensive delivery”

“The plates are great but I ordered next day delivery and it took 3 days, emailed for a refund on delivery charge but never heard back so slightly annoyed. £8.95!!”

“Some of the black print of number plate was smudged slightly and number plates got some condonsation inside after holes had been drilled, would of sent them back but needed to put plates on car, had plates before from here 1st time I’ve had an issue”

“Plates arrived, tracking stated dispatched same day as order, outstanding, but never arrived for 5 more days, disappointing. £5 p and p should have been sooner. Plates are good, but to late for the purpose ordered for.”

“I wanted black old style plates for my motorbike but were not available so got the standard yellow but smaller than legal plates. Good price and arrived next day very good.”

“Plate came in good time, however the quality was sub par and similar to what you can buy from eBay but for nearly double the price. The plastic was also slightly bent so I had to put it on an ironing board with a tea towel over it and warm it with the iron to straighten it back flat. Kind of feeling cheated but it’s on the bike nonetheless.”

“The rear plate was too yellow and I was expecting Perspex plates instead of plastic. They are for a 1986 car so the Perspex would have been more correct. I’ll probably replace with Perspex.”

“There are a number of marks across the letters of the plate that make them look ‘dirty’. Not bad enough to mess around with return/refund however. Ordering was easy and deliver was quick, shame about overall quality.”

“The plates looked nice but they had lines at certain parts of the plates! It’s not a huge deal but I would have liked the plates to be perfect without these marks. Good delivery time.”

“They sent the first set which had grey rather than black letters. I complained and they sent another set within a few days though they did not reply by email which would have stopped me leaving a bad review on Trustpilot - the plates do have an odd rebate which I have not seen before along the edges.”

“Good product but I didn't realise that there was a drop down box which gave an option for show plates or road legal plates. I accidently ordered show plates. When I emailed show plates in an attempt to immediatly rectify my mistake I didn't receive a reply. The plates are on the bike now but to future customers I'd advice not rushing through the drop downs as I did.”

“The service was excellent but the delivery....Hermes the delivery agent are terrible. Their options for collecting your package or redirecting or any of the usual options are non-existent. They never leave delivery attempt cards and have no way to contact them.”

“The quality of the plate was good and delivery was swift HOWEVER the fitting pack that comes with the plate wasn’t much use as I t came with only 3 sticky pads! I’m not sure what their thoughts were when sending them to me. Maybe use 2 on the front plate and 1 on the back?! I did email Show Plates Direct asking if this was a mistake but never got a response from them. I had to order some extra sticky pads from Amazon at extra expense which was annoying and delayed me being able to fit the plates.”
