“Said order dispatched them morning no deliverly no update no contact nothing. Having read the reviews will never use them again. Number plates were for soon birthday will not get them now on his special day”

“I ordered a pair of car plates using standard characters, sizes and fonts, and expected them to be delivered with a BS number making them legal. When they arrived entirely bare with no BS number or any other mark, I went back to Showplates and asked why this was? They copied and pasted the T&Cs from their website and told me: 'Sorry admin error. You chose show plate design and size for your plates, Showplates do not have the legal markings on them. regards' They have refused to do anything even though they advertise a '60 day money back guarantee'. and a ' No Hassle Returns policy' !!!!!! I don't think this is an acceptable service from an online retailer, and will never use this company again........”

“Order placed 24th October received confirmation same day saying plates would be despatched next day. Despite 2 emails and a telephone call to the sites number which does not get answered,i still have heard nothing or had any replys. Beware this site is a scam”

“Atrocious quality, arriving already peeling so would have stood no chance when put on the car. Terrible customer service also being unable to reach them on the instant messenger service and nobody ever there to answer calls. When a refund was requested they point blank refused stating they required photos and insisting the plates WERE of a high quality when I felt they were nothing of the sort. Only received my refund when advising them of my consumer rights and distance selling legislation. Overall a terrible experience and a company I would avoid at all costs!”

“I am very disappointed, I cannot use the plates provided because they do not have the correct spacing with no gap between the letter I and the number 3.The number has come as MOI3424,the correct way is MOI 3424.I don’t think I can legally use them and will have to buy a new set.A complete waste of money. Robert”

“I didn't know what I was ordering when I wanted bm51 AAA I forgot to put the space in so it says bm51aaa witch is totally illegal and no good to me wat so ever and wasted £ 30 pound of my money no help or discount was offered towards another set regards Matthew Adam's”

“Sales staff are rude, not professional or helpful. They put a phone number that redirects you to email so pointless but lead you into a false security of being able to speak on the phone. Service was not satisfactory and when I asked for a refund they "dont do refunds" I think they maybe need to check consumer rights before they carry on trading”

“Showplates sent a plate completely different from the one I ordered and despite sending two e-mails and returning the plate I have not had a reply, let alone a correct plate or refund. A very poor trader!&”
