“SP is an excellent small company out of Portland, OR- I use their cycling gear and it's always well made and the customer support is first rate. My only issues have occasional fit problems- I can be between M & L. They have been great with return and/or exchange.”
“All my Showers Pass gear is of exceptional quality, very functional, and super versatile (bikes, skis, general outdoors, landscaping) - a couple jackets, rain pants, riding shorts, gloves, sox, etc. Just a couple nitpick issues - lack of availability on common sizes of popular items (good problem to have as a supplier). The new exchange program seems more problematic than before...more back and forth and some confusion. Now you pay an upfront charge for the ability to exchange (which is fair). But then I got an email saying I had to pay double on top of that when I requested a size exchange. I asked why? They cancelled it and said I shouldn't have received the extra charge. It worked out.”
“I ordered a medium even though I measured as a small on the sizing guide. I usually straddle medium to large as I have long arm but am thin in body. Medium was perfect to cover my wrists when reaching out to the bars. Think I will enjoy wearing this jacket giving me better visibility to drivers.”

My favorite garment is the Refuge Pant. The Refuge lets me ride with confidence in the worst conditions, with extreme visibility and comfort, allowing me to focus on the road. After all, it’s about traveling that road that keeps me riding. just keep the gear coming …..”

I have been a fan of Shower Pass ever since buying a pair of Event cycling pants in 2011. I have used the heck out of those pants including two cross country trips. These have to be the nicest clothes I've ever bought. For the joggers, I will say yes you should pick a smaller size but if you have large calves you should just let the drawl string do their thing and stick with your normal size.
The jacket is beautiful and functional. The gloves fit like gloves.

“I think Showes Pass excellent design and execution. I find I have the size up in order to get what it fit but that's expected when things are intended for cycling. I do fine. I have to stay on top of cleaning and reinvigorating a water repellent coating, but I've never found any rain anywhere where this was not true.”
