I experienced a delay with my order and unhelpful AI-generated updates from customer service. However, the Simba Hybrid® Original Mattress is fantastic—so comfortable it’s hard to get out of bed in the morning!

Terrible experience, especially given how expensive the mattress was. The mattress was fine when it first arrived. However, after 18 months it has sagged horribly to the point where it is unusable. I've sent two emails to Simba over the last 4 weeks with no reply. Reading other reviews, it appears that this is common - great mattresses initially, but they simply don't last. Bad product. Bad service. I definitely wouldn't recommend them.

Awful customer service. Bought a refurbished Delux king size matress from Simba and paid over £800. Whilst it came with 12 month guarantee I notice deterioration shortly after 12 month guarantee expired. The bed sinks in the middle. It is fair to assume the deterioration started within the 12 month period. Simba customer service could not be less interested. Very disappointed and having to buy a new mattress already. Do not buy Simba!

Was good for the first 4 years but the sides collapsed. Contacted the company because of the 10 year guarantee but they won’t honor it because we had moved. Pretty sure they would have found another excuse not to if we hadn’t moved…. But pictures don’t lie and you can see for yourself - we swung it often as they instructed but it didn’t help. There is a ridge in the middle and it feels like you are sleeping downhill. We wake up every morning with sore backs. It is going to the dump unfortunately

Bought a sim a mattress and it’s dipped on one side and when I complained they do nothing about it so avoid and don’t buy as it’s allot of money to waste I had the mattress about a year before it’s started to dip on one side and I’ve turned it round and makes no difference. I’m not large either.

Avoid!!! I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I have received from Simbabed in relation to my recent order of a bed and mattress. I placed this order just before Good Friday, and for the past five days, I have been attempting to contact someone regarding my order without success. Firstly, the chat bot on your website has proven to be completely ineffective. Despite repeatedly inputting my personal information and requesting a call, I have not received any response. Today, I finally received a call from a company representative, but unfortunately, I was already on another call at the time and had to disconnect in order to answer. To my dismay, the representative hung up immediately after I answered, and when I attempted to call back, I discovered that there is no operating number available. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and has left me feeling completely disregarded as a customer. Furthermore, I find the website's claim of "next day delivery" to be highly misleading. After completing my purchase, I was informed that the delivery time would be within 10 business days, a significant discrepancy from the advertised promise. Given the outrageous level of service I have encountered, I have no choice but to request a full refund for my order and seek an alternative supplier. I am appalled by the lack of communication, professionalism, and transparency demonstrated by Simbabed throughout this process. I expect a prompt response to this complaint and confirmation of the refund process. Additionally, I urge Simbabed to address the issues highlighted in this letter to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely,

I would give this 0 stars if I could. I purchased a king sized hybrid Simba and after 1 year I started hating how uncomfortable and firm it is. If you want to sleep on a rock this is the one for you. 2 years later and I'm still stuck with it because I can't afford a new one. Simba doesn't respond regarding warranty or refunds. I'm not suffering from sever back, neck, shoulder and hip pain. (I'm 30.) I'm not that old that I should require the chiropractor 2 times a week and a massage 1 a week plus a prescription drug for the pain I'm having. This mattress is horrible for your body. The word needs to be put out there that it shouldn't even be considered as a purchase for anyone! I'm telling you, it seems great at first but after a few months your body is going to hate you. I have reached a point where I don't even look forward to going to sleep at the end of the day. I dread it. I wake up in pain and exhausted from not being able to sleep. Sleeping in my car or on my rug would be better then this heep of trash they call a mattress. Please for the love of god... Pick any other mattress and don't even think about this one.

This is a 6-month review so I am leaving my assessment based on sound experience of using this product, and a lot has happened! I purchased the Simba mattress and pillow after hearing all the hype surrounding it with high hopes of getting a good night's sleep and waking up feeling refreshed. However, my experience with these products has been nothing short of a nightmare and I do not recommend them. Financially I feel like I have been robbed by an overpriced and overmarketed product. I hope I am still eligible to win back the cost of my Simba for the following reasons: Here is my timeline: Mattress: The bed arrived on 16 June 2023. The bed was unrolled and left in the spare bedroom to expand. The bed was put into the master bedroom on 19th June and my partner started coughing shortly after. My partner started to feel unwell on 20th June and he was admitted to A&E on 21st June with breathing difficulties and put on a nebuliser to help him breathe (he is asthmatic). Back then I never even thought it was the mattress due to the ‘hypoallergenic’ claim. I now have a different view on this, hence the review. After Simba arrived, he was unwell for weeks with his asthma and prescribed steroids to help him breathe. The smell from the mattress was rancid and lasted a long time. Simba claims that its products are hypoallergenic. However, how does Simba explain my partner being admitted to A&E 2 days after sleeping on the Simba mattress? There is no such thing as a coincidence. Pillow: A few days after my partner used the Simba pillow, his GP confirmed that the muscles in his neck were tense. He was referred to a physiotherapist and went back to his old pillow. The pillow is just overpriced nonsense. Mattress Protector I received the ‘free’ mattress protector and to put it bluntly, I find this mattress protector to be pointless. The installation was simple. However, when you put the bottom sheet on, you must stretch the protector simultaneously, which is a challenge. In terms of pricing, the sheer pointlessness of this mattress protector makes the cost unjustifiable if bought separately. There is no such thing as ‘free’. Recent experience: I have recently purchased a new amazing reinforced heavy-duty divan bed base from a third-party company and this has opened my eyes about the Simba products. This has made my Simba mattress the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. However, I have learned that to have an amazing comfortable bed, the bed base is just as important as the mattress, if not more important. The Simba mattress was uncomfortable on my old bed base to the point where I almost asked for a refund. Lastly, the price point of the Simba mattress is high compared to other similar options on the market. While I understand that quality comes at a cost, I'm not convinced that the higher price is justified by the overall poor experience I have with this mattress and pillow. My bed now is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on and I struggle to get out of it as it has a habit of hugging me in the morning! However, 90% of the credit goes to the new bed base rather than the overpriced Simba mattress. I am leaving a 1-star review as the Simba mattress put my partner in hospital as it triggered his asthma and I do not recommend and I will never buy from them again. If you are asthmatic, I would think twice about ordering from Simba, regardless of what they claim about the hypoallergenic hype. When the product is unrolled the smell is toxic and rancid, so how is this hypoallergenic? My partner's asthma is now stable after the smell went about after 1 month and he has been fine since. I don’t want to return my mattress but a refund is justified for the hassle you have caused to my partner's health. Depending on the response from Simba will determine whether or not I make a Section 75 chargeback, and/or legal action.

Awful don’t waste your money, Had an engineer out to look at the ridge and the dips in mattress and was informed by simba no issue. Funny that the guy who came to look and do inspection on the mattress seen a huge dip and ridge yet he didn’t photograph that and took photos that suited what the agenda was, when asked he said it was all visible and would not be a issue I guess they say that as once they leave nothing you can do and aim a will just pass the buck. Was great for the 1st year or so but now un usable and simba won’t honour the warranty avoid at all cost and buy something else or at least better customer service.

Hybrd Mattress was great for about 18 months. Now serious dips in both sides. Followed all turning advice etc. Now starting to cause back issues. Not sure I can be bothered with photos, measuring dips jumping through a million hoops just to get another Mattress that will probably do the same thing in 18 months again. Will get rid and buy another make that doesn't have so many reviews that state the same issue.

Be wary. Their customer service is appaling with no communication. I waited all day three days ago for a mattress they said was being delivered and now no confirmation of redelivery. They do not reply to emails and the only contact is with a chat line whose operatives fob you off with false promises and do not answer questions. Cannot comment on the mattresss but if is similar to their communication will be rubbish. They have my money I do not have the goods.

All of Simbas products are built to a high standard and they all do what they say I didn’t really believe that the cooling function would actually work but I can assure you that it does.

What a brilliant experience. Amazing quality. Bought for my brother who is clearly spoiled but I plan to get the pillows for myself - they're amazing - and I have no doubt the rest will follow.

I ordered a Super King matress with protector and pillows. Firstly I didnt get a confirmation email with delivery date - hence tried to call Simba for 2 days and couldnt get through. This was were the poor experience started. Got through in the end and the delivery was confirmed and was told I'd get tracking info the evening before with a 4 hr delivery window - that didn't arrive. UPS turned up with the delivery - only 1 delivery driver who kicked the box out of the van (box was badly damaged) delivery driver doesn't bring the matress into the house - despite this being the service confirmed by SImba in all their materials. Hence I had to lug it upstair myself and cracked a rib in the process. Opened the matress and pillows are missing - called Simba but once again they don't like to answer the phone - all the hype about customer service is clearly marketing and not fact. Just got through and pillows out of stock with no delivery date - shambolic. Customer service chap told me they changed delivery service and they have many issues. Very dissapointed Simba customer who's sleep experience has been totally ruined by poor quality customer service, missing products, poor delivery and expensive phone bills - and a waste of 3 hours of my time contacting them.

Great mattress, sleeping really well now, however only 4 stars as the chemical smell from the mattress is taking along time to fade (had it over a week now, stripping the bed every morning to "air" the mattress).
