The shipping to Canada is the worst there is and if something goes wrong Simon Says Stamp won't even attempt to look into it for you. If you need to get a refund, they take 3 months to give it to you. Worst ever Company.

Sick and tired of how long it takes them to even THINK about shipping an order. Ordered same day from Ellen Hutson in Seattle, and those products are here are ready to use less than 48 hours later. HOW is it possible they can accomplish that feat, but SSS will take another week to 10 days AT LEAST. I'm DONE ordering from them. (Oh, and the positive reviews on this page are most certainly from one of their sheep like Cathy Zilske or Jennifer McGuire, who are already being paid by them!)

Great range of products but if you're an overseas buyer be prepared to wait... and wait.... and wait and in between.... wait some more for your parcel to arrive. When they release their Xmas collection.... be aware that it will arrive in time for the NEXT Xmas. Odd - because other US craft companies I use which charge almost the same for shipping - arrive within a week. Maybe it's time for SSS to change service provider.

After seeing many unboxings for their 'crafty parcels' I decided to take the plunge with the most recent one, which was a fundraiser for Huntington's Disease. The email I received listed many terrific companies (but not limited to) that donated toward the content of the boxes. Of course, SSS has its own lines and it made sense that they would also contribute items. First, let me say- my mindset going in was 'It's a donation that comes with a grab bag. Whatever it is, it is.' Seeing past boxes I knew there were some things I wouldn't use and some things I'd love. There was always a lot of merchandise in the boxes. There seemed to be a lot of room to be happy with whatever was in the box. The box shipped super fast. I had it with a couple of days of ordering it. However- it was a smaller box than previous boxes and was not put together as nicely. Going through the box, it seemed to be a collection of mostly clearance and overstock items. I received dies that did not come with the coordinating stamps and a stamp set that only made sense to use with the coordinating dies- but the coordinating items were not included. The headliner companies listed on the email about the box- my box only had two items from one of those companies- clearance sale level, and nothing from SSS lines, which was a surprise. A friend ordered the larger box- and her experience was the same, except that one set of stamps she got actually had the coordinating dies included. Between the two of us- we spent $200 on boxes that were supposed to contain 'over $400 worth of merchandise. That's a total fantasy. I'm not even sure that there was half that. We both agreed- we went into this with the mindset that it was a donation first and the merchandise was a bonus. Even so, we were left feeling bad about the whole experience, and couldn't figure out why. It came down to this; this isn't SSS first attempt at boxes like these. They've been doing it for years. Past boxes have been very generous (matching their claims) and the items seemed to be good and chosen with some degree of care. To promote this is a fundraiser, 'close to their hearts', attach names of top-tier companies as contributors, dollar amount values that were double or more - and then to have 'volunteers' slap together boxes of clearance stuff nobody wants- and none of their own product!- it left us feeling duped. It didn't leave us feeling good about the company itself. It left such a bad taste that we both decided to redirect our regular shopping $ elsewhere in the future. So- I'm happy that money went to a good cause- definitely. It's the only redeeming part of this whole experience. I feel like SSS had good intentions, but the execution was just awful. I've unsubscribed, unfollowed, and won't be ordering from them again. I just don't feel like this was a great example of how they do business.

I have been ordering from SSS for a few years. Even after several substantial orders with liquids that were shipped in regular envelopes. Not padded envelopes just plain envelopes. A couple times my packages had holes. The envelopes were so packed I am surprised that the post office took them. The shipping times are a nightmare. I never purchase anything on backorder or preorder. This last purchase made me decide to cancel my order and never shop there again. I had purchased again a pretty good amount of stuff and 2 weeks go by. I email customer service and ask about my order and they said that a couple items were out of stock and they were waiting for them to come back in. I was so irritated that I was not notified. They need to do a better job at customer service. I don't usually write reviews but I could not sit back and not say anything anymore.

It has never failed that everytime I place an order, it takes them forever to ship it. I mean really really ridiculous amounts of time to ship products. You would think that they would get this right and get products out. All the other companies I deal with for stamps as well as tons of online shopping I do really get their products shipped promptly. It is almost like they don't care and figure people will put up with this. They have great products, just horrible shipping and customer service is just so-so. Sorry SSS but step up your game.

Ordered on 3 separate occasions over the past 18 months. First order took a week to ship, the second took almost 12 days, the third even longer. None of the orders included "special items" or "back ordered" or "preorders". Thought the maybe second order delay was not the norm so was willing to try once more. However, when the third order took even longer, it was time to shop elsewhere. It's sad because the name brand products are nice.

If notified in advance that there will be delays in shipping I can make an educated decision as what to order and when to place it. No upfront notice, whiny customer service, phone calls not returned, horrible delays in shipping, no effort on their part to appease consumers. They have some really nice products and come highly recommended by high profile youtube "gurus" but they are letting down their customer base.
