“Their Kevlar bands have resurrected my cheap Wickes electric planer - the original band broke when I, as usual, mistreated the thing (its cheap so I do things like that!) The problem is you can't get the original drIve bands so I checked out a similar spec Simply Bearings Kevlar band - took me a few goes to find the right length and to be honest I think I chose one a fraction too small BUT it drives my planer brilliantly AND the band itself is far tougher than the original, so next time i misuse my planer, I expect it will break NOT the Kevlar band. Which is a bit of a blow as Simply Bearings don't, as far as I know, flog cheap electric planes! Once I have more time, I'll also be looking at their bearing products for a few projects I have in mind. I wish I'd found them years ago!”

“Always use these guys. I rebuild old motorcycles for a hobby which means I need lots of bearings, seals, O-rings and the like. Most of these rebuilds use bearings readily available from the vast stock of Simply Bearings Ltd. All at reasonable prices but even more importantly ex stock. Recently bought a pair of ball bearings for use in a Honda which would have cost me £38 ex vat from a Honda dealer plus £7 postage. £12 ex vat from Simply bearings with free delivery. (Same bearings exactly)”
