Please, Do NOT Book Anything From Sunweb. A 6800€ travel package from Sunweb was cancelled due to COVID-19. As they refused to refund, I submitted a chargeback request by my creditcard bank. Sunweb then issued the socalled Corona Voucher to me, stating that a refund is only possible after 1st November. Yet the voucher is marked as "VOID" and can not be used, the reason, according to Sunweb, being that I have requested a chargeback. Sunweb then went to dispute my chargeback and won. My credit card bank rejected my request, Sunweb kept the money. Yet the voucher is still "void", THREE months since the chargeback has been settled. I contacted the customer service to ask them remove the void tag. Firstly they say they just need the confirmation letter from my bank that the chargeback has been rejected to re-validate my voucher, which I provided. Then, after another month, when I asked again why the voucher is still void, they say that they need a direct confirmation from "ATOS/Wordline"[sic], which I have heard of and was never mentioned by Sunweb before. And I have to contact this "ATOS/Wordline" by myself, they do not know when the confirmation would come, if it would come at all. It is not my responsibility to chase some third party to get my own money back. Just make sure this never happen to you, guys. Avoid Sunweb as you would avoid robbery.

No customer service. Holiday cancelled mid March. Nearly 6 months on and they say they have suspended refunds, although they haven't actually paid out on any yet, as far as I can gather. I wouldn't trust them with my money again. Don't go near them with a barge pole. They show absolutely no loyalty to their customers.

Holiday cancelled due to coronavirus, fair enough, but Sunweb are offering vouchers (only for the lead person on the booking, and these are not transferable!) against a future holiday (buy holiday first, then redeem the voucher??? and if it fails, will they turn their backs on you again??? what a joke!!!). They are refusing to give a cash refund, as is required by law.

Really shocking. They are cancelling holidays but refusing refunds. They don't seem to care about their customers, it's all about profits. Personally I would not use this company ever again.

Horrible! Profiting over the corona virus situation and refusing a refund, not following their own T&C. I have no money to buy food or pay rent and they are offering me VOUCHERS!!!

Booked for 10 people to go to Avoriaz in Novemebr, departing the end of January. Due to their policy of maximum of 9 bookings (no telephone bookings available) I had to do it over 2 bookings. One 6 booking, one 4. There was confusion with one of the booking which was changed in November. Numerous phone calls to address this issue as their email takes over 48 hours to reply and a different person everyday. Dates were changed and booked everything then. Both groups agreed via telephone that it was all sorted. Had an email 3 weeks later to say half the booking was due. They had booked me on the wrong dates with the hotel (flights were the correct date). Again had to phone and an email trail correctly showed that it was their error, they apologised and assured me that it was all fine. Came to the week of the ski holiday and one of the bookings travel information had delivered. One had not, again phoned to chase up the failed document delivery, again was told it was all sorted and they were sent manually. Landed in Geneva on the day of travelling only to find out that they had only booked transfers for 6 out of 10 of the group. The other 4 had to wait until the company they hired sorted it, no thanks to sunweb. We landed in Geneva 21:30 and did not arrive in Avoriaz until 02:30 (original ETA 22:30). Arrived at the accomodation and everything was closed and could not have a room for the night despite our booking saying so. I had spoken to their rep at the hotel as they asked about ski passes, I stated we were not arriving until the early hours and could they leave the passes at reception. They agreed. Spent the first night in one room as a group of 10. It is now Tuesday (arrived Sunday) and I have heard nothing from sunweb regarding their errors, what a terrible company and their customer service is diabolical. All they do is take your money and pay other companies to do their work for them, do not waste your time with this company and just book it all yourself. They are uncontactable, will hide behind their T+C's and will be unaccountable for everything. Avoid at all costs.
