Total Business Disruption due to SmartProxy's lack of tech-compliance support during weekends I lost trust in SmartProxy. A company that during the weekends has no support for many things that can compromise a whole business operation. The tech and compliance team don't exist during the whole weekend, they claim that they have support 24/7, but that type of support that chit-chats but doesn't resolve important situations that can hurt any business, be aware of this. I was on the 25 GB plan, chatted to support, and confirmed that I could upgrade to a bigger plan, this change blocked a domain that was essential for my business to operate. I talked to a support rep, but no solutions, I talked to another, that created even a much worse situation, resetted the account, again ID verification after being a customer for many months, and not a single proxy connection working... In summary, I can not recommend you a company that you can not fully trust when their support cannot solve problems when you have an emergency during the weekend.

I'm compelled to share my concerning experience with smart proxy, especially this has now occurred twice. On two seperate occasions, I discovered unexpected consumption of significant amounts of data (Most recently 4 GB) without my knowledge or intervention. Such incidents create both security and accurary of their system. It's disconcerting to think that thre might be inherent vulnerabilites or system errors, especiallyconsidering the platform's responsibility to protect and manage user data discreetly. The primary reason I chose Smart Proxy was its reputed reliability, making these repeated issue even more disappointing. I sincerely hope the company undertakes a through investigaionand implements measures to prevent future occurreces. But for now I have substantial reservations about continuting my subscription and would advise potential to be cautions.

They could well be scammers. I got an account and was verified by their "compliance" within minutes. Then before even using any of the credit they wrote to me saying the account was suspended because of fraudulent activity. I asked them what is going on and what is the evidence for fraudulent activity. You don't just accuse people of fraud. They just repeated the same none sense. Then they gave me a partial refund. Why partial, if there has been used where are the logs, and where is the statement of account? They just repeated the same thing as a parrot. They could and probably have done that to so many people with pay-as-you-go accounts with no accountability. The amount is small but can be ad easy regular theft. I encourage others to report it no matter how small it is. These corporations think are a law on to themselves.

This is a scam. getting 403 on certain pages harmless legal pages. Lost 30$ on this scam site steer clear.

scam company paid for them and still cant use service and when asked for refund said no refund what a drama putting chargeback claim with credit card

Smart proxy has a 3 day policy. Make sure you have everything in place to test smart proxy within three days. If you take longer than three days and smart proxy is unable to fulfill or work with you on your business needs they will keep your money and refuse to work with you on a refund. My request was for data not used(Reasonable) in my opinion and only asked because smart proxy couldn’t provide the services we needed. Smart proxy is cheap, however, their customer support is also very cheap and I will not be looking to work with them in the future.

From the first subscription purchased, we used about 10 Gb with 20 GB. After which we could not use. We wrote to them with a complaint and it was rejected. Then we canceled the subscription and today we have been withdrawn from us in the amount of USD 200. I reported the problem and they didn't serve us either. The case was reported to the bank and the Police for extortion. Scammers.

Company took my money but failed to tell me they blocked the sites that I was using the proxy for. Then would not refund me. This is a tiny little company with all 9 remote employees as far as I can tell in 9 different countries. I guess they really need my $100. Do yourself a favor and buy from a company that is responsible to some legal authority, and does not take the stance of "not my problem" when something does not work out the way they thought it would. They must be paying for reviews because the service is horrible.

with residential IP, Google is blocked by default, you will have to tell the risk team why you need to search on Google, or you are not able to search on Google

Hello! Google is considered to be a premium target among most proxy providers. Therefore some restrictions are necessary to keep the pool clean from abuses and fraudulent cases. Our risk team is currently responsible for approving these requests, and the process is relatively straightforward as the only thing we require from the user is their use case. If one fails to meet this requirement, their request is likely to be denied. We hope this clarifies the situation for you!

I bought a subscription. I waited 3 days for activation. Access is active but IP whitelist is not working. I wrote to customer service again and I've been waiting for a response for 24 hours. Product interfaces are successful. Customer service is very kind but the service sucks. An issue takes 3 days to resolve. The technical team is very slow.

It's a shame you have caught us at a bad time. It would appear we had some issues on our side regarding IP whitelisting authentication. As the latest conversation logs with our dev team show, the issue should no longer persist. We're glad to hear that you are satisfied with the quality of our customer service, however, it seems that they have not received a reply from you after the issue was reportedly resolved. Sadly, I can not recommend Smartproxy. Their proxies might be good, but their customer service is sadly bad. Only the guy on discord is cool, I assume he is the admin.

Smartproxy really sucks! On their first webpage they say we promise guaranteed refund. But when you have a try on their products and want a refund, they say we have a lot of requirements you need to meet. I just want to know what the hell is guaranteed refunds? Besides, their salesman's attitute is very aweful. Please DON'T use their products. It just sucks!

Hello! As we can see, you were unable to receive a refund because you have already used up all of your traffic, and we only allow using up 20% of it before you request a refund for our services. We understand that this must be frustrating for you. However, the terms are clearly written on our refund policy page, and our support team has to bear in mind if the account that requests a refund is eligible to receive one.

Hello! We understand that the limitations can be frustrating. However, we do have to block access to certain websites due to fraudulent use cases from some of our users or websites noticing an unusually high number of requests from our infrastructure, so we have to cease all of our activity on the website to avoid legal action.
