“A little disappointed with my purchase. My dog’s favourite go-to bed is his round snoozer he has had for over a year now. So when the new square crate beds came out I jumped at the opportunity for him to have a ‘pod’ for his bed time. However the opening to the pod doesn’t align to the opening of the crate and it also feels less quality than his old round pod. There is also no helpful plastic hoop to help keep the entrance opening. All of this has meant that my dog doesn’t like his new bed and won’t use it at all. Which means I think I have wasted my money :-/”
“It’s a great idea and if made with quality products I would have been over the moon. Not worth the £120 I paid, made with cheap foam. I did hope for something a bit more superior”
“I must admit we didn’t get a great start. Some misleading info on the website (bed called II dog bed & shows 2 dogs when it’s a ONE dog bed with 2 draws)and not the greatest customer support but to their credit, after some efforts to get my point across, very quickly I was contacted and a return was arranged.”
“Good quality, dogs love them.
Major setback is the covers are meant to be washable , can't find how to remove hoop so can fit in washing machine. Sent email, still waiting for reply”
Hi Carmel! You can see our video instructions on how to remove the hoop and wash the cover at the link below. Please let us know if you have any other questions! :-)

Hi Andy! The hoop actually can be removed! :-) You can see instructions here: https://www.snoozerpetproducts.co.uk/pages/how-to-wash-your-snoozer-cozy-cave
“The dogs love the orthopaedic luxury caves but they are not it seems very durable
Will attach a photo
As they burrow into the cave and they are small dogs it seems the pipe that forms the ‘ cave entrance roof opening’ has a problem as the stitching holing it in has failed
Also we haven’t yet washed these as they are only a week old but surely the pipe would fill with water even when intact.
Love the principle of these but for the price I would be seeking a solution”
Hi Peter, Thanks for getting in touch about this! There is actually a small hole there by design to remove the tube for washing. It's usually hidden in the fur, but the tube can sometimes pop out, especially after shipping. You should be able to re-insert it pretty easily and let it "settle" back in. We'll follow up with you by email to make sure everything is alright and, if not, all of our beds are covered by a one year manufacturing warranty!
“I first brought my whippet a snoozer cave,7yrs ago.Had sheepskin type lining. She loves that bed.Sadly its had a few repairs and its now beyond help.So I brought her a new one.Its not so good. The lining is not as good quality. Its a type of micro fleece fabric.
The cushion base is far to thick making it difficult for her to get in the opening.Shes not so keen on this bed but will go in will persuasion.
I'm hoping it will "flatten" a bit and I cant see the fabric being as hard wearing either.Definatly not worth the price this time.”
“Really well made quality bed, however, despite our dog having a long standing requirement for sleeping under a blanket and enjoying burying under blankets, she does not seem to like the cave bed. Perhaps this will change with time, but at the moment she is back in her old smelly bed as a preference. We will persevere and see if she comes around to it.”
