We are so disappointed to be writing this review, but after raising our concerns with the company and essentially being called liars, we feel it’s important to share our experience so that others are aware. Our journey started off really positively. I wanted to purchase a sofa from a British-made company, and being based not too far from us in Wales made it even better. When we visited the showroom, the staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The ordering process was smooth, and even the staff over the phone—who booked our delivery and answered our questions—were fantastic. Unfortunately, everything changed at the point of delivery. The delivery team were incredibly careless, scuffing our brand-new floor. My husband actually noticed how careless they were being, asked them politely to take more care, and even put down sheets himself when it became clear they weren’t listening. Despite his efforts, the damage was already done. Once the sofas were unwrapped, we also discovered an orange mark underneath the slipcovers—something that should never have passed quality control. My husband immediately phoned and emailed, providing photos. To be fair, the lady he spoke with was helpful and arranged for the sofa to be replaced on an escalated delivery, suggesting the mark could even be rust. The real disappointment came when we were asked to send photos of the floor damage to logistics, where the manager Jim would handle the case. His response was shocking: rather than taking the evidence seriously, he told us he had spoken to the delivery men, who of course denied responsibility. In effect, this meant we were being called liars. This has really soured what we had saved for—good quality sofas. After reading other reviews afterwards, I would have been far more cautious before ordering, as it seems that over the years both quality and customer service have gone downhill. I doubt this review will make any change in Sofa Sofa going forward, but hopefully it will make people think twice before ordering—or at the very least ensure they pay with a credit card so they have cover if something goes wrong.

The sofa I bought is so uncomfortable! I paid extra to have the cushions wrapped in down but they are rock hard. Very disappointed.
