I have not been paid this year for any generation ! Communication with there Ware and Rickmansworth office (email and telephone) is impossible, and the so called "Customer Service" department in South Africa has got to be tried in person, as nobody would believe in the 21st century how bad it can be.

It was OK until they were my supplier, but as soon as I switched to a different company the pain started. They did not register the change to the new supplier and kept on sending bills, including threatening letters to resort to debt collection companies, and customer service was very poor and unable to do much. This was finally sorted by the other company, Bulb, who had excellent support. Stay away from them.

solarplicity fitted SMART meters at our house three month ago. The SMART meters work but the link between the meters and solarplicity doen't work. The online account information is a mess they still have the old meters listed as the current meters and are estimating the bill whilst telling me to send a meter reading. The meter reading is not accepted because they are new meters not the old ones. This lead to pressure to increase the direct debit to the fictitious estimates. OK things can go wrong so the quality of the company is it's ability and willingness to fix those problems. Twenty eight days since I made a formal complaint and three more emails to complain and the only response is an automated email reply. Avoid solarplicity there is good customer service to be had out there

I phoned them and asked for my direct debit to be increased to cover this, but was rudely told by Kimera Pillay in their credit control that I had to make payment immediately on the phone to her or my debt would be sent to a debt collection agency! I had literally just found out about the debt and she was threatening to take me to a debt collector! Awful customer service I shall be looking for a new energy supplier immediately.

Terrible service should not be allowed to run a business. I have been waiting to be contacted for months and no communication. Disgusting and poorest service ever
