“Boycott Sony!!
It's become too apparent to ignore any longer. This company is intentionally scamming their customers and need to be held accountable. I've been a Sony customer for decades now and it simply sickening how unapologetic they are about their actions. They used to be a top tier company and have since stooped to inflating prices beyond reason and creating purposeful defects in their products. It's no wonder they have such a bad rating at nearly every review site on the web.. They need to be held accountable for their actions so I intend to boycott all their products and services regardless of quality going forward until they either stop intentionally scamming their customers or they shut down and I'd encourage all other Sony customers to do the same...”
“Sony's customer service and policies make this company a nightmare. The company uses a bot to respond to customer service inquiries and has policies that other companies do not use. I personally bought a game, played it for a few days, and didn't like it. It was impossible to get a refund for the game and my subscription on time, which is unacceptable. I will never buy games from this company again.”
“I ordered a new TV (XR-48A90K) and there was NO remote control in the box. It took me over an hour going from sales to technical support and then to customer relations in order to get an order for the remote control placed. This is so ridiculous and I am utterly disappointed.”
“Shocking customer service from SONY CORP for well known defective product e.g. HT-MT500 soundbar. Advised me to pay £33.60 for inspection by Authorised Sony Repair Centre knowing that the PCB required for repair was no longer available and inspection fee could not be credited against a repair as advised. Then was offered £100 buyback on soundbar system purchased 3 years ago for £445. LAST PURCHASE OF ANYTHING SONY FOR ME.”
“Awful, awful company these days. "Sony" used to be the 'go-to' company back in the day, but today's products are awful. Purchased a £2k television and it failed after 26 months.
