“DO NOT BUY FROM SPARES-2-GO
I purchased a Dyson-compatible vacuum cleaner head from Spares-2-Go in February 2026. Unfortunately, after only a few months (just less than 3 months) of normal domestic use, the product stopped working completely.
Whilst I appreciate that faults can occasionally occur with any product, what has been most disappointing is the complete lack of customer service. I contacted the company to request assistance and to discuss a repair or replacement, but despite multiple attempts and allowing more than two weeks for a response, I have received no meaningful assistance and no response to my most recent correspondence.
As a consumer, I do not expect a vacuum cleaner attachment to fail after such a short period of time. More importantly, when a product does develop a fault, I expect a retailer to engage with the issue and communicate with its customers.
My experience with Spares-2-Go has been that they are happy to take your money, but when a product fails prematurely, customer service is nowhere to be found.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company and will not be purchasing from them again.”
“Ordered two months ago. They said the part was out of stock but are still showing it on stock list. despite several email they will not refund my money or reply to emails”
“Bought a lawn mower drive belt which was supposed to be a Flymo original belt. Actually sent an aftermarket belt which should have cost half the price I paid for an original Flymo part. On looking at their Ebay feedback this is not the first time they have done this. Customer service was an absolute joke. Avoid at all costs.”
“I bought a thermostat for my fridge when it arrived I found out it was the wrong one so I returned it. Although they have a 60 day returns policy they refused to refund me my money. So they are now able to resell the item therefore making twice the money.
I am putting it in the hands of the small claims court to see if I can get my money back
All I can say is they are DODGY DEALERS and I would advise people not to deal with this company.”
