Order and delivery were without issues however I was really surprised at how much it cost. For example A small bottle of a soya £2.75/-, while in another supermarket £0.45/-.

Really bad - took 2 hours for the food to arrive and the person I spoke to was extremely rude. Do not use it

Dreadful. Invoice said Order would be delivered in 3-4 business days. Received nothing. Emailed them a week later to follow up - received no reply. Three weeks later I received a text message from Parcel Force stating my item would be dispatched the following day. Tracking Number on the Parcelforce website said "Item not received". Sent another email to Spices of India - no response of course. Thankfully paid via PayPal so escalated - awaiting investigation. All, please report them to Trading Standards. Disgraceful customer service. In fact, it is NON-EXISTENT. Save your money, save your blood pressure, save your time. Also if you are the fortunate few who do receive the item(s), check the Expiry dates!

ONE YEAR OLD PRODUCT I just seem to be another victim when I read all of the other reviews I did buy 4 bags of "Nestle Coconut Milk Powder', 1 kg and 14,25£ each. I was not sent an order confirmation, was not aware that Spices of India does sell old products (in this very case BBE 3/2019) and consequently had no opportunity to review and/ or cancel All Spices of India say is: It was clearly stated on the web page – the invoice ‘Line Item’ is created from the ‘Basket Item’ No apology, no free return and refund offer

Same story as below. Have been waiting months for my order and nothing. Will be taking them to court through my bank.

I ordered 30 cans of coconut milk, arrived on time but it is all rancid. They all have expiry date in 2 weeks, which normally i don’t consider to be an issue as long as the product is good, but not in this case. They don’t care about the law and consumers’ rights. I asked for return and refund but they refused. I wish there was a way to get the money back. 50 pounds is gone

Absolute negative response , take money but don’t deliver goods . Will take them to court ( small claims) to return payment .... DO NOT RISK SENDING AN ORDER ...

Used them for a business to business purchase. They sent less than half of what I paid for and ordered with a note on the delivery paperwork saying the rest would follow. It didn't. Tried emailing multiple times to get my money back. Nothing. Tried getting a phone number to call them on. No reply. If this wasn't a 'business' transaction, it would be considered theft. Total cowboys and I would recommend you never use them. If you are reading this from Spices of India, I dare you to challenge this. I have proof.

Do not use this cheating lying company. I paid extra for Express delivery and waited almost 2 weeks for their overpriced rubbish. They banned me from there page when I protested and ignored my messages.

Took 2 weeks to deliver order and when it arrived it was 18 months past its best before date. Based on other feedback this seems normal. Crooks..

Absolutely terrible to deal with. S**t service all round. Avoid like the plague. Try 'red rickshaw' instead.

AVOID AVOID AVOID Placed an order in good faith on Feb 13th - confirmation email no problem but then I found this page and doubt set in my mind. I got a text from Parcelforce on Wednesday 19th Feb advising the order was due but then noted on the tracking page that the item was marked as not picked up I have tried the telephone number and just get the answer phone and have also emailed more than 5 times with no response I have raised this with PayPal now and am awaiting a refund

AVOID! Ordered three weeks ago - no delivery as yet; emailed them daily now and have requested refund through PayPal - have had no problems in the past with them but I'd advise you don't use them now if this is their standard of customer service and delivery

What is this so called business up to! My order was missing certain items which was acknowledged on the invoice with a refund outlined. After weeks of being ignored the refund was eventually paid to me by the Pay-Pal Resolution centre.

Dishonest business. Should be shut. They are cheating people and harming their health by selling expired products. We ordered 2 packs Pillsbury Atta(wheat flour) in Jan 2020 and both packs have expiry date of July 2019. They are selling eatables/edibles that have expired over 6 months ago NOW. Upon querying we were blatantly told that the website shows the BB date at Jul 2019. Now who in their right minds would 1. Expect that a store sells expired foodstuffs to their customers? 2. Know that BB means Best before end date? They have refused refund and we will be approaching an appropriate consumer forum with evidence of the sale of the expired products. I hope they are shut down by the authorities for duping customers and for playing with the health of their consumers by selling expired edible stuff.

Extremely disappointed with Spices of India customer service. I have used them in the past with no complaints but service have really deteriorated. I've been chasing up a failed delivery for over 10 days. There's no way to speak to anyone on the phone number provided and have had no response via the email provided either. Does anyone know how to claim refund for payment over credit card?
