AVOID AVOID AVOID Placed an order in good faith on Feb 13th - confirmation email no problem but then I found this page and doubt set in my mind. I got a text from Parcelforce on Wednesday 19th Feb advising the order was due but then noted on the tracking page that the item was marked as not picked up I have tried the telephone number and just get the answer phone and have also emailed more than 5 times with no response I have raised this with PayPal now and am awaiting a refund

AVOID! Ordered three weeks ago - no delivery as yet; emailed them daily now and have requested refund through PayPal - have had no problems in the past with them but I'd advise you don't use them now if this is their standard of customer service and delivery

The telephone number is just a recorded message directing you to the website. I placed an order 13 days ago. I paid for the order. I am still waiting for the order. I have phoned - no option to speak to anyone or leave a message. I have e-mailed twice, no reply. I have messaged them on Facebook, nothing other than a sarcastic remark from them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY DO NOT DELIVER AND THEY DO NOT RESPOND TO ENQUIRIES!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT!!!!!!!!!!!

Jar was opened when it arrived and contents spilled out over packaging. Several emails with photos sent and ignored. Can’t get through to anyone on phone. Been trying for 3 months now. Very poor customer service. Would never deal with this company again

Took 2 weeks to deliver order and when it arrived it was 18 months past its best before date. Based on other feedback this seems normal. Crooks..

Dishonest business. Should be shut. They are cheating people and harming their health by selling expired products. We ordered 2 packs Pillsbury Atta(wheat flour) in Jan 2020 and both packs have expiry date of July 2019. They are selling eatables/edibles that have expired over 6 months ago NOW. Upon querying we were blatantly told that the website shows the BB date at Jul 2019. Now who in their right minds would 1. Expect that a store sells expired foodstuffs to their customers? 2. Know that BB means Best before end date? They have refused refund and we will be approaching an appropriate consumer forum with evidence of the sale of the expired products. I hope they are shut down by the authorities for duping customers and for playing with the health of their consumers by selling expired edible stuff.

Extremely disappointed with Spices of India customer service. I have used them in the past with no complaints but service have really deteriorated. I've been chasing up a failed delivery for over 10 days. There's no way to speak to anyone on the phone number provided and have had no response via the email provided either. Does anyone know how to claim refund for payment over credit card?

Order placed in July 19 was short on certain items on delivery, but still charged, and promised a refund! After sending approx 15 emails.... still no refund!! This was just one of the arsey replies I received. ( screenshot of email below) AVOID THIS SCAM COMPANY

Avoid this company. They promised a refund for a failed delivery and didn't pay up. For weeks my numerous emails regarding their non payment have been totally ignored. I raised a dispute via PayPal and luckily they are going to refund me. Stay Clear of “Spicesofindia.co.uk”

This company is a scam. They took my money and refused to deliver the goods. I had to appeal to PayPal to get my money back. Absolute scum.

Order did not arrive, sent email, rude response from Sarah saying “check your tracking”, I did, tracking was blank so that obviously didn’t work then? Ordered balti dishes in February to the value of £46.90, as I haven’t received them or a satisfactory or helpful response from the company, can only deduce they have stolen my money.

I have used this company previously (some time ago) with no problems. However two weeks ago I placed an order and have heard nothing. They have taken my money of corse. They do not respond to emails or messages sent via their website. Phone number is an answering machine. DO NOT USE THEM!!

This company appears to non-exist or has gone bankrupt just like rest of UK. Placed order but did not receive any delivery confirmation. They will also NOT respond to any emails. Telephone is actually an voicemail. Filling an charge-back with my bank was the only way to recover amount. Please REFRAIN placing any orders.

Borderline scam. I bought something with standard 2-3 business day to delivery. After 4 business days I tried to contact customer service to ask when the parcel will arrive: no answer. After 7 business days I contacted again and no answer again. Eventually on business day 8 (almost three times the maximum delivery time) I asked to get a refund and they did. Should I have gave up, they would have got free money.

The gift voucher I had was not recognised initially so I had to email them. They replied to ask what the code was so it could be validated but did not reply when I asked if I would have to put the order through again. I waited and then tried again myself. The voucher was indeed acknowledged but I had to find that out for myself. However I was still taken to the pay by card screen so still don't know if I will get my order. It was hard enough to place an order due to the above and as most things were out of stock. Let's see if I get a reply to my latest problem... Nice Christmas present, I must say.

Items not delivered and it has been over 2 weeks! Don't deliver goods when promised or the agreed speed of delivery. No Customer service at all. Go-to-Hell attitude for the poor customer. Can't be bothered to respond. Lie through their teeth when they do and treat you with contempt. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Do not use this cheating lying company. I paid extra for Express delivery and waited almost 2 weeks for their overpriced rubbish. They banned me from there page when I protested and ignored my messages.
