“The team scheduling and booking the villa as well as the online conceirge was fine but the representative Alan was not a good representative. He was not at the airport to greet us, we called him from the rental car to take us to the villa. Once there, he did walk us through the property but after that we texted him with questions about safety locks and keys and he never replied for 2 days. He never checked in with us throughout our stay and when our grille ran out of gas, he came but never tested it as it did not work even after he came. We found him not to be service oriented at all and we were turned off by this considering the last villa company we rented from on St Barts the rep was incredibly friendly, service orietned and supportive and checked in with us multiple times during our stay. We also asked for his help speaking to our cleaning person given the language barrier and he was very curt and blunt he could not help us despite our explanation that we could not communicate with her. He finally got it and wrote her a text about laundry but we very much felt on our own. He gave us pricing of laundry for $40 a load when the website stated the laundry could cost a bit less. We paid $100 to do two small loads because we had no idea if he meant all laundry for $40 or per load. Additionally a pool crew just barged in while we were at the pool with no prior notification from Alan which was scary as they did not even introduce themselves. My young daughter asked me who the two men were in the pool area and I ran out concerned for our safety. No noticfication is not professional. The pool also could have been warmer, it was not as warm as we have had in prior villa rentals on St Barts. On our last night, Alan texted for us to plan to leave at 9:30am for airport, but it was more transactional. If I were the person using St Barts Blue Villa to rent my home, I would not be happy with the quality of service Alan provided people renting my home and paying upward of $20,000 a week. He needs more training in hospitality service and professionalism. for this amount of money I absolutely expected more.”
